Summarizing Support Of SCHIP Veto.

Congress should vote No on the override of the President's veto of H.R.976.

I know even Senator Grassley (R-IA) says that the bill is safe from abuse re adult use as it lets the HHS Secretary determine what's too much, still, why is the door open? As it is, even the American Cancer Society has been running cable tv ads lately in Lake County IL, all the alleged cancer patients appearing to be my age (47) or well older even minus afflictions; I've nothing against separate research funding and development funding to help such people, but like Katrina and Rita victims, why do we all have to be collectivized into single supplier, single source public care at expense of private R/D and health jobs, so that all who need care overburden the unique system while reducing likelihood of strident bounds toward cures?

Many in government tell us the eyes of potential immigrants and foreigners are upon us, and we must show them the USA has constructive leadership; I share that concern and simply think that it may be shooting such goal in the foot to enact just any old legislation for such primary purpose.

I concur with President Bush on his own merits re SCHIP as is veto, and the within balance is to show my concurrance also with objections as raised by the American Conservative Union.

As one of their nationals, I am disappointed that Congress voted for a massive expansion of government controlled health care known as the SCHIP bill. I am appalled that supporters of the massive expansion of government controlled health care known as the SCHIP bill have used children as political props on television to change some votes and override the President's veto.  I urge Congress to reject these tactics and vote to sustain the veto.

While claiming to expand the coverage of health care to poor children, this bill actually does the opposite.  It prevents the federal government from asking the states to certify that 95% of poor children are covered before covering other people.

This bill would allow, and even encourage states to cover families who have private insurance and make up to $62,000 per year.  States that have done this and added adults to the program have now run out of money and cannot cover the poor children this program is supposed to help.  How absurd; and since tobacco use alone would allegedly fund such additional coverage, why are areas such as Chicago even now widening tobacco use bans to literally every place in their jurisdictions?

I believe the real purpose of this bill is to attract people who already have private insurance and get them to switch to government run health care.  I understand that the Congressional Budget Office has a study that shows that 77% of the children that would be included in the expansion of this program already have personal health insurance.  Whatever the problems with the present system, government-run health care is not the solution.

It is clear to me supporters of this bill do not have the interests of poor children at heart, but want to play politics with their health.  If it were otherwise, they would have drafted a bill that puts poor children first.  No one should be a part of this cynical attempt to make a political point.  Congress should vote "NO" on the override of the president's veto of the SCHIP bill.

Barney Franks Just Latest Democrat Agenda Fake Litmus Test.

These days, it seems some in Congress are content to allow the activity of dreaming up sentiment after sentiment Bills alone to somehow be the litmus test of what they have in mind and who are the ogres to face in opposition on election day.

Sure, there may some Socialist-LIKE conversions that need to be permanently ensconced for the non-elected masses, but such sovereigns and those who cavort to their whimsy and are lucky enough to become annointed thereby promise we'll have a great culture notwithstanding.

For example, we need no vehicles, jobs, farms, equity...all that worrisome if free trade stuff that probably would lead to a war elites would even be bugged by, anyway; is education important when you can vie ala "Jackass" or "HBO Real Sex" or "American Idol" or play lotteries or win at casinos? Come on, just let ol' Uncle Sam keep a-borrowing to fill in the gaps, and let officials decide who's critical to playing musical chairs and not...anybody who votes against genocide, likes gays, likes minorities, likes women, hates the USA lapel pin flag or flag, berates and reduces our military, and says Qaeda are just freedom fighters can't have the stony hearts they say Conservatives opposing them have, right? I mean, come on...litmus test SCHIP shows it's GOT to be the word "Child" they hate, not possibly ANYTHING in the vetoed text under the title.

Goofy bills like Franks do seem to need be taken only as ephemera to the comprehensive Socialist-like society Bush opponents appear to be building themsleves while constantly searching for others to blame, as such society ever advances.  Too bad Franks and his Congressional intimates can't use, say, nationwide requirement of voter trails as a current litmus test.

To me, it's a factual nullity if Franks or anyone else is not put out by gays, unless a Franks or someone wants to add special priviliges for saying you're gay to avoid social responsibility(ies) or to receive greater benefits than anyone else...I'd say the same if anyone tried to protect ME in any such Father State manner, especially since orientation just means who you like to sleep with, not some more motive item making it more "worthy" for you to have justice only if a Franks or such sovereign deigns it "critical"...like with workforces, inter alia, already.

As to the more meaty subject of SCHIP as litmus test, MoveOn sent another email PSA today saying the GOP hates children, and only children...tiny ones, by MoveOn ad photos...will be hurt; to that PSA I replied:

"George Soros is a good friend of the Clintons, and occupies his life with amassing billions to do little more than bad mouth Democrat opponents without any necessary regrad for facts (even Senator Feingold, D-WI, has as motto "facts don't matter"). While it's enthralling Dems don't want to say why they lack this or that money on their own (failed jobs/business policies at local level, ban tax base items, e.g.), oh gee...we just HAVE to act Socialist and make now people under 25 "children", as well as redefine poverty as $82K per year, cut insurance and healthcare jobs by eliminating any use of same any more, and press to get every last person the same. That alone is a non-compelling argument to me, as is shamelessly holding up Katrina/Rita supplements FOR YEARS just for such mass public healthcare opportunity (or never at least proposing one); or shamelessly holding up cancer victims the same; or telling us that even if a bill said "crush all persons who think they have rights or equity simple" BUT had the word "CHILD" or "Children" in it, it MUST be passed, and no matter the job, rights, or national debt losses...oh, and don't make Helvidius Priscus report to ANY President now or later, as my God can't you see Priscus is good with money whenever left alone after getting it? I continue to support President Bush' veto of SCHIP as same was at time of veto, and remind his opponents that my wife and I, like everyone else, despite our own needs always try to work socially for the best good of the whole of which we are only a tiny, tiny part." Would SCHIP Impact Healthcare Jobs?

I know I have, as a USA national and Conservative, joined in reasoning against SCHIP in form vetoed on grounds it sounds in the globe's historically failed Socialist health care simple; it is convergent that such SCHIP as vetoed comes as some tell us the mass immigration and movement toward going green without societal or property equity, begun actually under Clinton, will somehow bring global peace and save us from global warming at no diminution to the lifestyles of those so telling us...even if no specific enemy threat(s) directly linked to ending USA industry and military as surrender or capitulation can be enumerated, and even if such "keeping you and your children at least SAFE and ALIVE!!!!" strategem always buoyed by some form of high-interest easy credit on empty specifics is the same as when the same voices said it was to empower minorities and women against males in jobs/commerce, later to empower immigrants against those with jobs/commerce, then to show compassion so the world won't hate us, then to help us drain potential "personnel" who might be so poor they'd join Communist or terrorist militias against us, and now lies as a pretty much "just the way it will be and we've got on our scopes trained on you" scenario for some.

It is fascinating to watch Gore-type hypes and media screeches lose sight of the fact those who tell us the movement toward comlete USA Socialism-LIKE culture is an inference-only "necessity" to "appease" SOMEONE abroad, surely, while officials and partisans who tag onto same rush about at once alleging Bush even made up Qaeda 911 involvement to Iran jihadists love the USA but for Bush, yet so alleging as they write bills seeking their own style of military expeditionism as if there IS a 1960's or bigger industrial-military complex to so act once we leave the war on Islamic terror and obligations to Iraq...it may even confuse foreigners as to just which of them is accused of being surrendered TO since they are not in nations against which AUMFs or greater exist.

But in just trying to chip at SCHIP from rooted in manifestly non-existant for purposes tobacco use taxes due to small smoker population daily banned, and due to its confusing Socialist innuendos, one thing I've not heard is: even if SCHIP as vetoed were overridden, what if anything would be the cost to USA healthcare workers already employed; that is, how would cleaving to government-only as service and medication provider and sole mental health adjudicator impact all medical personnel in the USA as we reorganized into such new sole system?

There being no such study report(s) known to me personally, I therefore continue to support President Bush as he battles both with undercuts to his or any President's diplomatic efforts and efforts to override SCHIP veto.

SCHIP Pressure Cooker: Spate Of Anti-War Mongering Bills Solve Non-Existant Problems.

I saw at the DNC homepage today Dean has a lead post re the bill to stop war profiteering; there's no indication that HAS been going on, but note the cute Democrat doff to foreign populations generally that they're "saving" them from the USA and Conservatives by using the word "stop" as if it IS going on.

Once again, somehow telling someone that they're under imagined attack or about to be for a Bush/GOP military-industrial complex profit grab which the Left will save with spreading global government-owned housing only and government-run healtchcare as ONLY option while the Left shuts down ALL USA everyday occupations...while of course calling al-Qaeda freedom fighters (Marcy Kaptur, D-OH) who did not attack us on 911 (Barack Obama, D-IL).

The psychology of the Left is not as subliminal as it may believe, self-deception being commonplace in life; self-doubt ought not ring in Conservatives over opposition to SCHIP as it was in vetoed form.

It seems the spate of anti-war mongering bills solve non-existant problems.

SCHIP Veto Should Stand Despite Specious Claims Of Child Protection.

The other day, Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize for global warming; okay, okay...and Al Gore's personal educational and technical work experience in ANY natural science is...? Such in climatology or paleoclimatology is...? The reason(s) the Nobel Society decided Al Gore's goofball hockey stick "warming" graph trumps all other opinions and historical evidence is...? And lastly, the reason the Nobel Society and non-Conservatives bumped global warming from natural science to peace prize classification is...? "Al won da peace prize dere, sees, so's youse bedder play ball wit us cause we SEZ so!" is hardly enough for me to become a lapdog of the Society or Mr. Gore, in that such blind acceptance is reminiscent of the mentality behind the wacky say-so "reasons" those with swastika armbands and hammer-and-sickle/red star lapel pins used to spew (and Socialists all).

In that Illinois Democrats' latest sandbag target appears to be a small remaining steel plant in Gary Indiana on bare allegation it must be hurting the global warming per Herr Gore's theory (USA is monster polluter, no other nations pollution hurts the weather or stuff, let's totally wipe out manufacturing and stuff in the USA), they insist no tech now in existance or soon to come could possibly remedy any alleged problems, so let's shut that puppy down, jobs be damned...China or whoever can provide safely on say-so, now get cracking on that government-only home ownership/government-only healthcare (boy, that dumb ol' Bush...Latin Americans to have better there local work situations, Americans to have jobs from which to pay taxes and deduct costs...dumb ol' Bush and his stupid listeners will change their tunes when they see Commisar No-Trail, the real vox populi anyway, vote!).

Indeed, States Rights seems to some to mean States Lefts...way, way, way, Left. Even today, I found an email PSA from the Speaker, telling me that SCHIP as vetoed just protects kids at no real cost to jobs or the economy, Bush is lying to me; ditto MoveOn; say, do these Comrades depend mostly on those who don't read bills themselves, or never notice say Soros will spend gazillions to bug Bush yet never, ever spend a dime to build small businesses, aid the needy or Katrina victims, or help out subprime mortgagees?

Lastly, speaking of Hermann Goering, father of the PUBLIC theory if you tell a people they're somehow under attack they'll blindly obey (you know, like Dems falsely accused Bush of via saying Qaeda never hurt WTC), the Left's armband brigade infers the whole world is waiting to eat us alive, based largely on anti-Bush folks going to other lands and telling them the USA is a monster no one should wear the flag of; also, whether or not that hatred is true, the world WILL bomb us if we don't enact SCHIP as written, obey Gore as Lord, and otherwise let non-Conservatives decide what fits into their bailiwicks...no, how could any foreigner at all say having no consumers or fixed government prices hurts THEIR business, it's USA global warming, see, and we MUSTN'T work or farm; no, how could ANY islamofascist revolutionary from 1979 forward just bide time until it looks like the USA has lost the will to live, it's Bush failed policies from war to business, yeah, see. No, Democrats and others couldn't bungle and block ANY President's diplomacy or traditional trade agendas, any more than going to Darfur, Armenia, and such would be military expeditionism even if for the same reasons Bush was sent to Iraq even by Democrats.

What most non-Conservatives seem to want is to have personal influence over every fiber and person in the USA, based on a vascilating "Bush caused the world to hate us and at least you'll LIVE!" over to "We're a superpower which would like to warehouse folks and by critical workforce/diplomacy methods decide who gets what from where, and the world can just lump it...we're out of the economic loop, nothing worth hitting here" canard.

If Democrats and other non-Conservatives (based on votes) want to usher in the same conditions Kruschev perfected, including tweaking Goebbels so that "facts don't matter" is THE scientific or equity or legal standard, and they claim Americans thirst for it in droves as do all immigrants, hey...we've waited this long, what would it hurt to wait another election? Via FOX, I understand Soros is targeting GOP officials around the nation with his mega-bucks, so it's not like overriding Bush plays to anyone but the Soros crowd or will spare anyone from their gibes and sandbags.

Wherefore, on reasons he himself set forth last week, I continue to support President Bush on SCHIP, support his view letting workers with JOBS deduct from taxes for healthcare costs with SCHIP reporting to the Feds who's getting covered, support only impoverished children via any SCHIP (like me and most folks, parents should be responsible and not use kids for their own entitlements...grown-ups should know better and have more care and higher interest for their kids themselves), and support letting the SCHIP veto STAND.

Modern Nobel Society Seems More Foreign Business Agency Than Academy.

In the years since Vietnam action ended, it seems the Nobel Society in re its annual peace prize have favored mostly the likes of Jimmy Carter, who advocates no resistance even if terrorists just start a revolution in their own area and take USA nationals hostage on threat of their execution, and those who, like Al Gore and his specious global warming claim that only USA and English-speaking nations' commerce cause weather problems (lead toy problems okay though as we don't want to roil Communist China any more than some did protecting South Vietnamese voters once), would keep all but say Chavez and Castro oil production out of global commerce.

Certainly, a number of those in or able to be in the orbits of Nobel Society members, including some honorees, are either parts of governments or just have a cushy business investment as things lie internationally. Perhaps it is mere coincidence the Society chooses to pursue a course more favorable to their interests even if at the expense and non-inclusion of nations which would just sit where they are, in terms of globalized economy, and even if the isolated nations had to single-source from Society favorites.

In the instant USA case, it appears the motive psychology non-Conservatives use includes collectively asserting the USA is a mega-jobs, mega-union, mega-polluting industrial-military edifice bigger than in the 1960's and thus needs reigning in just like Qaeda, Iran, Chavez, and others tell their own people; rudderless immigration is a way to "siphon off" potential recruits to foreign leaders; Iraq is a Conquisdidore Bush/GOP swagger grab for oil and nothing more, so maybe forcing less mega-production upon the USA will force it to "finally" share with others; and if we just have officials who understand having the governed in the USA turn the other cheek to every threat or invasion from abroad, we'll at least have a population which lives and has peace, if an uneasy one...as new economies emerge, we'll keep having losses and can decide State-by-State or town-to-town who needs special monitoring or warehousing, as will those elsewhere in the New Peace Economy of non-Conservatives be doing with their end of such uneasy peace.

Thus, the net sum of such non-Conservative psychology appears to be as or in the nature of: "Lay back, you take it, oh yeah, take it...and if you're good and quiet enough, you just might at least come out with government-owned housing and government-run healthcare; and remember, you want to get through this thing, right, and have hope for your children or their children's children's children's children's children's children's children, assuming that fits tomorrow's plans of aggressors abroad? Bad men and people elsewhere want to hurt you, so maybe if you please them we'll be okay". Might explain why even if the USA were to be totally isolationist, some don't think it should have its own in-house capitalism or free trade or monetary system or farms or energy.

The only problem is, whatever these amorphous threats are on any day, they don't seem placated even by mass media and such espousing such a "please the rapist" mentality, so little seems to be gained were such sole "defensive action" taken.

The 2008 campaign cycle will afford ample opportunity for non-Conservatives to offer what they believe global and domestic issues to be, what we should do about them, and why we need to fear all other leaders amid this.

In the meantime, many pundits and vested interests have been creating visions and inferences not even the subject foreign forces seem to emit or have as "offers". Wherefore, as a Conservative never seeking swagger attack yet never shrinking from defense of democracy or from letting other sovereign leaders make their notions of free trade known to our officials, I'm not going to just replace what such foreign sovereigns say with the phrase "BUSH failed policies"; I continue to support the martial and diplomatic efforts of President George W. Bush, and to support Conservatives for 2008.

Global Forecast: Fog, Caused By Cloying Pundits Left And Right.

Some people who lean left are funny and often provocative, like Jon Stewart, using humor either to express their views, attempting to spur better debate on both sides of the aisle, or both; some people who lean right, like Ann Coulter, are like abrasive anti-Stewarts but are going for the same gists, even if Stewarts and Coulters make money along the way.

Then there are entities which accept no one's voice but their own, and search for and entice only the most loyal echoes thereof, in attempt to say such "unity" is indicative of the masses. MoveOn comes to mind, a group which today emailed me a PSA saying we must all call Congress and stop Bush from absolving phone companies from lawsuits re monitoring; here's what I said to and about MoveOn after reviewing said PSA:

"I know Soros doesn't like Bush, and anything at all is to be "negatived" on auto-pilot from the first day Bush took office, no matter what did or otherwise could have passed. But MoveOn within relevant seems to ignore both parties on massive assent passed PATRIOT and related, and that the laws direct the office of President, ANY sitting USA President, to effectuate their will...further, once more, playing to the primal fear of rape/invasion psychology and nothing else, MoveOn so conjures inference mean ol' Bush harmed USA citizens getting their data, assenting to absolution of companies complying with bipartisan laws from lawsuits, or both; get real, MoveOn and other pro manipulators: without a shred of evidence that someone HAS been legally wronged with negligence or malice aforethought, don't just yap at any official of any nature coming down the pike because you believe yourselves to be wearing little penny-farthing number lapel pins numbered 2 through 200 (ala McGoohan's "The Prisoner" 1960's tv show) and can control the world through media and a few elected parties on faux images alone...or could do it for them if they choose to so practice. I support Bush in absolving phone companies, and in DREAM Act concerns that allow both immigrants and nationals to do more than KEEP dreaming once everyone's here." [End of cite]

Now we have Wes Clark, whose WESPAC website homepage has said "help Wes Clark elect Democrats" for years, telling us it's not partisan to applaud ANY Democrat Kosovo, Darfur, ad infintum excursion, but Iraq or Iran, well, it's, it's just to much for him (although he accedes we can't JUST leave); then there's Jimmy "Glad I outlived most folks who voted me out 27 years ago" Carter with the same faint heart against ANY aggressors he had when he sat on his hands as Iranians took and held USA nationals as Islamic fundamentalist hostages; and in today's email, Bob Barr seems to be using his credentials as a former CIA official and GOP Congressman ( um, no reasons given why he just stopped running in 2003), and former(?) CNN affiliate, to say that oh no, it's impossible to imagine world forces like say Russia or Iran having ongoing aggressions against the USA period, say starting way back in 1917 for some and 1979 for others...even if many of the same old foreign aggressor faces are still on point today.

I am a USA citizen first, Wm. F. Buckley Jr. Conservative second, and all other things last; I never have wanted and never will want such office or potential to bend populations to my will; I love upwardly-driven competition benefitting the most while helping them be better people as well, globally; in short, I will never sell myself to anyone for fleeting fame, "easy" wealth, or my own comforts and without risks to me at the perils of the unwary, innocent, or my countrypeople regardless of race/origin/etcetera. And I will never bend to the threats made against my USA or ANY of its officials regardless of who they are or where they sit.

Wherefore, I continue to support President George Walker Bush in his diplomacies, martial applications, approach to secure yet free democracies, and dedication to free market trade pursuit; I also will support Conservatives for election in 2008, and note even Democrats have opportunity before general elections to show what States are willing to put behind a Bush vision under their own control.

SCHIP Fakery Seems Rooted Abroad.

Today I received an email PSA from the Democratic National Committee (DNC), asking recipients to "take back their own neighbohood"(?) and including that we must tell everyone SCHIP is just a child help and the mean GOP wants to ruin everything for everyone despite the best and most outstanding efforts of Democrats to deliver the goods wherever meanie Bush won't.

As if that putrid paradox alone weren't enough to turn one off, here is what I said as complete notation to a forward of said PSA to DNC and RNC offices:

"I know the Democrats and non-Conservatives sell that there's this Freudian interpretation of the doctrine of determination afoot; see, whether via anti-administration palaver that the USA is the same industrial-military complex Ike warned about way back decades ago, or via Dems yapping Bush is an invader and pirate of the globe, anti-USA and anti-democracy forces HAVE ensconced themselves on hating the USA in toto regardless of who runs any government(s) here so what can we do other than emulate or capitulate to such Socialist-like forces and totalitarians? Well, think about that: they float on hatred of the USA simple no matter what including SCHIP and housing project "capitulation", and they DO blame ALL officials and EVERY person in the USA or those enamored by or allied to it...neutering the nation only seems to cause such jamokes to press for even more from us and even more disdain and hopes of sending troops our way ala the old Soviet Union/China-Asia motifs, and they're not kind to ANYONE once they have a strong tactical hand...not to Bush, Obama, me, or the man in the moon. As it seems to me all of here together in the USA would only be useful idiots (coined by Lenin) for foreign despots and terrorists should we insist on exporting a faux 1960's image, hatred of our leaders and military, an adoption by any direct means or artifice of their form(s) of governance, I cannot and will not take part in efforts to support such perceived useful idiocy; thus, I continue to support President Bush militarily and Conservatives for 2008."

SCHIP Pressures.

I use the epithet Bruno and Tony not as some Italian slur, but because so many parodies have equated that name set with anybody at all using tactics like "got a nice fill in the blank, I'd hate to see anything happen to it, like my clumsy brudder dere breakin' tings, but wese could make sure nuttin happened as long as youse plays ball our way"...i.e., inducing cooperation over things which may only benefit those offering to save folks from what offerors created. Perhaps that's what Senator Reid too had in mind when he decided Rush Limbaugh's opinions cannot matter, and otherwise, when he said he'd use a lag between SCHIP veto and override vote to apply pressure to the GOP over something that really wouldn't deliver as promised no matter WHO was for it.

Lately, there seems a non-Conservative resurgence in the amorphous Katrina victims, and how from businesses to individuals they still lack homes, jobs, capital to restart anywhere, with emphasis on New Orleans; well, Louisiana has Democrat control and loves to stomp all over remaining US Senator Vitter (R-LA), in fact it has a woman Democrat Governor at all relevant times, yet to date not once has Louisiana said "look, we spent this doing this for New Orleans people before the well-forecast Katrina/Rita hit, so why won't Bush pay our bill?", nor has ANY Democrat or non-Conservative said "look, we've gone ahead and spent this money to rebuild victims' lives, businesses, and jobs, so why won't Bush pay our bills?". It seems the point is that not even non-Conservatives would spend a cent on such victims, but somehow their refusal to do so should be the President's responsibility and not theirs.

Then, as exemplified on this Sunday's "Sixty Minutes", based on the new inituitions alone of billionaires like Soros and his MoveOn.org together with the same of anti-war record seller Bruce Springsteen, such ESP is vibing that torture of terrorists or combatants may still be practiced even if no one can see it...ha ha, meanie Bush, what if that kind of mumbo jumbo is exported as further claptrap to undecut Iraq progress and our troops? See, sometimes you've got to hurt troops to prove you love them and respect their service toward a goal...or so some seem to tell us. In any event, this tangental attack on the GOP has the added inference that most Americans feel so badly over combatant treatment, all everyone already here wants to do is sure...grouse over Presidential salaries even mere Mayors like Daley write themselves while producing little more than blame of opponents as causation, but come on...what USA national or immigrant wouldn't want to throw open borders and give everyone a government-owned or subsidized home and only government healthcare; you can see how that's our only chance to grow those businesses and farms so new local taxes won't be the problem they now seem. To intone Bruno and Tony anew, youse kin sees how wese has a viable solution to da mess youse is now in and dat wese don't wanna stop even if wese get in next year.

Well, since such malarkey is aimed at hoping to sour the global population on Bush so SCHIP can usher in government healthcare as THE only care for anyone at all, let's take a fresh look at how well Democrats on much advance notice to boot would look out for the health of just one City, let alone the entire USA.

This Sunday, there was the annual Chicago Marathon; the temperature that day was 86 degrees Fahrenheit, blazing sun all day. Now, you'd think what with the Obama, Durbin, Ari and Rahm Emanuel, Mayor Daley, and absolute Democrat State Executive/Legislative pastiche going for you, such folks could just snap their fingers and ensure stepped-up sponsor and otehr water, fluids, cooling station supplies, cooling stations, what have you. But that didn't happen, and you know what City and event folks are saying? Basically, that the number of participants overwhelmed the system on admission that supplies were on hand only for a day under 70 degrees; so why postpone anything or snap your mighty Democrat fingers and make it be so that sufficient support services exist?

That would be the gold standard of medical cogency anyone could expect under Democrats and their envisioned Socialist society, and it doesn't seem very inviting as a way to coax more immigration or business; neither does declaring Sanctuary City or State just to infer all immigrants appear of sullied character but Bruno or Tony can save them if they play ball.

Wherefore, I defer to William H. Frist MD in my interest as someone best making amplifications on SCHIP worries.

Thin Troops With New Expeditions Or Completely Abolish USA Military?

The latest Democrat-supportive, actually non-Conservative "skirt text under pretty SCHIP title" and "Iraq was stupid and so is the flag except say Mexico's or ANY other as we buy immigrant credibility on the cheap while building cabrini Green and Cook County Hospital around them" blarney, to come into my email was PFAW, telling me Congress needs to grow a spine and stand up to Bush.

Okay, okay, okay. Have a position favoring as little defense as possible for any future storm troops riding into the USA and crushing the bodies not of officials who fled or govern remotely, but the mere population in its immigrant, racial, and gender diversities. Call the USA flag a useless reminder of a bygone Constitution and reputation...whatever sickens you about it as you pretend to civic pride and service. Say it's okay to do what Bush does UNLESS al-Qaeda really meant it when they said leave fill in the blank alone...so far, no Qaeda complaints about Darfur or Kosovo or such, so a-ok there, even if Laden or Mymood Alibabajihad or whoever just gobbles up Iraqis like you'd stop somewhere else with much more ease...be people who pander fear of EVERYTHING and prove your grit only via endorsing swatting tiny sitting ducks, but running from or appeasing or leaving alone even al-Qaeda. All of that is political speech aimed at saying only a rare few elitists are gifted enough to collectivize and apportion life as they alone deem critical to New Urban communities, diplomacies and workforces known only to them, as is this mythical 1960's style polluting industrial-military behemoth only 99% of the world can't see. All that is stuff for primary and general ballots.

But could we PLEASE stop saying that Congress isn't standing up to the BUSH who caused it all and inexplicably even to Democrats has somehow made what you don't like, whoever you are, permanent, so what can his successor do but expand those cards? See, even if Bush DID do it all at home, deepening it isn't a spine, is it? Are we to also believe that, say, Mayor Daley or Governor Blagojevich are but cringing waifs before Bush, only pretending to be pinky ring silk suit swagger masters of the new Illinois THEY refuse to even allow to consider having private enterprise equal to or even on the map compared to mass subsideized or public housing? Isn't true that for years the biggest lobbyists in DC have been States and Cities? What do they do with the money they demand, and if as they please, how is Bush or anyone else responsible?

The plain fact is, Iraq is due a chance as General Petraeus outlined, and undercutting him with then calls for partition, toss to Iran and Qaeda, and pullout for pastures "easier" is what wastes our time, Iraqi and USA troops' lives and sacrifices, and money...so far, even as to Qaeda, all one really sees is some say leaving the pukes alone and obeying their warnings "like we should've done re Iraq when Qaeda bombed under Clinton as Durbin called for Iraq action" will 'reddeploy' smartly.

The only "spine" Congress needs to show is what it expects USA general defensive capability to look like under them, what kind of business, free trade and job opportunities they will aggressively pursue once everybody has a subsidized or public home and only public healthcare is allowed...that, and how long we'll have to wait for it; after all, you can see that even omnipartisan "hate Bush" folks are planning to natterjack over a litany of tinier military actions, every bit as costly or more so than Iraq, so why not cut the anti-Iraq and pro-Socialist non-worker society chatter, let Petraeus proceed, and start lobbying for States and Cities to promote businesses and agriculture that will give ANY President better trade treaty options, allow us to stimulate other nations' growth through renewed ability to buy from and thus invigorate them which increases our prospects, allow us to stop inferring all immigrants are illegal and that all nationals think all immigrants have to go, and be less obssessed with fear of everyone and everything, most importantly fear of voicing opinions or hopes to elected officials? I mean, when you hear how States and Cities should each determine what does or doesn't sound like terror talk, just grousing about losing a subprime home or eviction after job loss could de facto equate you with the dispossession dogma of the PLO and get you on watch lists or worse, in some towns.

The absence of same only seems to benefit those who create it, offer to save from it, and spend their lives saying somebody else must have created it and a "conspiracy" keeps them from altering it. So since all I hear is "wahhhh, Bush bad!" and not what specifically beyond the now-stale rhetoric "hope" his critics aspire to domestically (we've been hearing that blarney "hope amid the same status quo" since the MAN from 'Hope' was elected in 1992), I continue to support Bush in his assessment of Iraq upon the Petraeus report, and I continue to support Conservatives for 2008 office.

According to America's Job Bank, that U.S. Dept. of Labor tool we've all heard about for so long and described as typical of where all those jobs hiding online hang out, it ceased operating as of July 2007, three months ago; non-Conservatives haven't yet even mentioned that teeny weeny item, currently reviewable at http://www.jobbankinfo.org/ , so again, just how serious are some Cities and States and others that they'd as much as entertain designs for more jobs than they've got?

Obama And DNC Warping Iraq And SCHIP.

The first email PSA I looked at today was from the Obama campaign, telling me essentially that Iraq should never have been authorized on ANY grounds, and that Obama is trying to whoop up walkers to show Bush a significant mass of population wants out of Iraq NOW and complete obeyance to Obama's sweet celebrity and "can't do much more than high public salaries, government owned housing, and only government healthcare, ala the success of say Cabrini Green and Cook County...sorry, his hereditary Lord John Stroger Jr....Hospital" offerings; to that PSA I replied:

"Within forwarded as rec'd is a copy of the latest Obama campaign PSA; down at the end it says Iraq is a war that should never have been authorized, even if senior Democrat Illinois Senator Durbin railed for Hussein's removal...Obama swears he took off his lapel pin USA flag upon 911 Qaeda attack not to show bin Laden he was very sorry for having disobeyed Qaeda's threats about the USA needing to know its place, but because you somehow can care about all the emotion, honor, and decent free trade tenets our flag represents even if you say such reminder is idiotic; as someone who STILL at the moment of writing is wearing the USA lapel pin flag given to me in return for not small 911 victims donation six years ago, I think I'll keep giving Obama a pass and keep supporting Conservatives."

I hope Obama won't call all the folks in Chicago this weekend for annual Marathon his walkers...he came up very short Statewide on his June such "march".

The next email PSA I saw was from the DNC, telling me they've gotten 90,000 e-signers to support SCHIP no matter WHAT it says under titling, bub, so I better get wise, see, and go wit da mob; to that PSA, I replied:

"So as long as say SCHIP is a mere title at least tear-jerking to those super-duper shields "the CHILLLLLDDDDDDRRRRREEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!", the content wouldn't matter, not even if SCHIP under the title said "Senate Commands Hallucogenic Intoxication of Public"; and since Dems poll, what...11% approval?...one wonders how much Hsu or MoveOn "e-signatories" are just waiting to ram name after name in support of SCHIP as is...even here in IL or my part thereof I see no hordes waiting to storm the castle over SCHIP veto. Maybe you can find 90K people who think LSD and murder are cool too; not much "momentum" on a bill otherwise, as even Biden mocks , will somehow pay infinite healthcare yet result in less smoking...smoking being the sole source of such healthcare; does Dr. Dean diagnose THAT many voters with ADD?"

Mayor Daley says that SCHIP and government owned housing as majority sole options or no, he further wants higher local and national taxes to move cities and such forward...from who? On what community development plans where housing doesn't eclispse farms and workplaces? Heck, even with the innuendoed "don't worry, once WE'RE back at the helm, all nations will adore us" blarney, Durbin, Obama, Blagojevich, and Emanuel seem to not even have interest in pursuing the 2016 USA Olympics bid once they became sole town for so trying, freezing out others...maybe they wouldn't be proud of their nation or care if had that business even if Bush were long gone.

I support President Bush on Iraq and Conservatives on SCHIP.

Veto Of SCHIP As Written Should Be Upheld.

So many email PSAs today asking to support or oppose SCHIP veto; here's what I told relevant members of Congress:

"The within following next four paragraphs were conceived and drawn by me, and the balance thereafter above my sender data was prepared by the American Conservative Union...I incorporated their text as it amplifies my position on SCHIP.

An email PSA I received today from MoveOn on its face and through its terms tells me that President Bush hates American children...let's examine what say MoveOn must ignore about the all-important, how-can-you-think-about-anything-else-or-quality-thereof SCHIP program to rail at Bush and feed this Hitlerian extermination of business, populations, and such Dems and other truly non-Conservative folks of assorted stripes accuse or tacitly "affirm" Bush and his supporters and troops are committing ( why Bush is bad for going to Iraq and not Darfur....get the joke, ar-ar-ar? Genocide creator and importer and exporter? Why, how could THAT talk alone embolden those killing our troops or undermine even Iraqi alone diplomacy?).

Well, those in MoveOn's club at all times know there's hardly going to be enough money to pay for what the President vetoed; none of those nattering nabobs of negativity even want to talk anymore why they think SCHIP as "improved" will fund tons and tons of USA smokers TO tax; this means you either have to borrow the money or cut all defense and perhaps border, DHS, and police monies while pretending "mean ol' Prez du jour did this or that mumbo jumbo" to explain things getting paid while others get cut.

The other most significant drag on SCHIP recently offered is that prior SCHIP is NOT affected...the SCHIP add-on would be to offer such money to anybody not currently on it, and only proponents could say who they believe beyond present level will soon be needing coverage by the State, or how infinite the SCHIP payments are meant to become. Thus, "mean" child-eater Bush has harmed no one currently on SCHIP with his veto.

The plain fact is, MoveOn and its club of diverse political and social admirers miss that being a child is but one mere phase of a child's existance; Conservatives such as myself simply point out that proposing budgets for needs that don't even exist, or have no real or accurate funding source, or are meant as "offsets" to the futures of children and their families being designed by non-Conservatives to drift into State-run housing, healthcare, gambling, and foodstamps in conscious resistance to free trade or capitalism at all, or combinations thereof, tend to make claims like "Hitler Bush did it!" and "we offer HOPE" seem like anti-democracy, anti-free trade sound byters having their cake and eating it too.

As a civic minded USA national, I urge you to uphold the president's veto of the SCHIP bill.  While claiming to expand the coverage of health care to poor children, this bill actually does the opposite.  It prevents the federal government from asking the states to certify that 95% of poor children are covered before covering other people.

This bill would allow and even encourage states to cover families who have private insurance and make up to $62,000 per year.  States that have done this and added adults to the program have now run out of money and cannot cover the poor children this program is supposed to help.  How absurd.

I believe the real purpose of this bill is to attract people who already have private insurance and get them to switch to government run health care.  I understand that the Congressional Budget Office has a study that shows that 77% of the children that would be included in the expansion of this program already have personal health insurance.  Whatever the problems with the present system, government run health care is not the solution.

It is clear to me supporters of this bill do not have the interests of poor children at heart, but want to play politics with their health.  If it were otherwise, they would have drafted a bill that put poor children first.  Please don't be a part of this cynical attempt to make a political point.  Vote "NO" on the override of the president's veto of the SCHIP bill. "

Some Wouldn't Want Defense If It Were Free.

As I recall, Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL), prior even to the 2000 election, nor President Clinton, objected to Iraq-like nation building for real by the USA in say Kosovo, but it then happened same appeared to represent a non-Conservative position "mere" al-Qaeda attacks on the WTC, USS Cole, and so forth were not worth doing away with Sanctuary Cities or so much as divising a way to merely track Qaedan type terror money and players; however, again, Kosovo actions were of import to Clinton, Durbin, and others...including then calling for military removal of Saddam Hussein by the USA military and perhaps so doing in Darfur; once it appeared the "not worth tracking" al-Qaeda would hit the USA proper just because say Bush WAS going to Iraq anyway and merely hypothezing what if Hussein were fooling Hans Blix about WMD to boot, suddenly it seems non-Conservatives found acting amid Qaedan threats was "rash". At least, now we're to forget Iraq as part of a onetime pastiche devised under Clinton to remove totalitarians whether or not they have, had, or pursue WMD; far more even U.N. called for reasons for removing Hussein had accrued before Bush came along and can be recalled via reading at http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/10/20021002-2.html  .

Today, as Jimmy Carter is again reported on USA MSM to be railing at Darfur's leadership and calling for USA military action against same, an Obama campaign PSA came into my within email; it's so lengthy that by itself it can't pass spam meters, but may be viewed currently at http://my.barackobama.com/page/invite/judgment.

This PSA further links to Obama saying he doesn't oppose USA defense or think most folks aren't patriots, he just thinks Iraq is a dumb war and thus one presumes Iraqis don't warrant liberation, and to protect America and defeat al-Qaeda we need to refocus all military some other way; obviously, it would be tricky to say why Durbin wasn't dumb under Clinton re Iraq, or  why it's dumb for anyone to even have been a USA soldier in Iraq...maybe these sophisticated re-deployers mean only an idiot would think they can do anything or go anywhere al-Qaeda doesn't approve of...Senator Obama recently also held that Qaeda was not involved in 911, any more than were airplanes, so how can you even suspect he or non-Conservatives or their craven admirers want al-Qaeda left alone?

To reiterate, I perceive that it's false hope, to Iraqis, the USA, Darfur, or anywhere else, to defund Iraq and defense generally just to push Bush to fund SCHIP whether or not tobacco use already almost non-existant produces promised funding; nobody should be faced with a choice of either highly paid officials, public-owned housing, and public-run healthcare before anything else is ever planned long-range for community developments, or having a military at all. It also doesn't seem to make sense to further say in any event, we'll just have to stay out of the way or appease any squawkbox foreign mischief makers, decide town by town who's critical enough to a workforce or appeasement diplomacy to warrant collectivized benefits at all, and imply that all here must be inferred as likely criminal aliens, terror supporters or ala Bush/Iraq terror inviters, or both.

I continue to support President Bush in his decisions re Iraq. And as to further innuendo over the years Bush is a Sunni-siding civil war mercenary just out to help the Saudi Royal Family, well, Saudis have owned Citicorp and also had the same relationships with Democrats across the USA since Clinton, and a look at recent financial tickers yields as the non-Conservative agenda for America continues to expand even Citigroup forecasts fourth qtr 2007 losses of 60% due to pre-collectivized housing subprime loan situations.

Notice too that war tax or not, some just don't support the military or commercial development at all, which is why they needn't talk about job and economic growth in their vision; as to a war tax, I think it could be called a defense tax, and I would pay it for advancing the self-determined free trade populations of the USA and world in the traditional sovereign yet allied sense of diversity of proud nations.

Beats trying to pretend calling for Iraq partition is somehow spitting in bin Laden's eye as spitters furiously demand complete retraction from Laden once said not to go.

Security Cuts To Keep SCHIP From Going Up In Smoke?

Last year, an amorphous political and media symphony put forth that Iraq was a simple, simple civil war restricted to just Shiites and Sunnis therein for control of its laws and oil...and that Bush was just siding with Sunnis to please the thousands of bin Ladens he'd created and save face with the Saudi Royal Family, and to placate Mymood Alibabajihad who's only trying to help out his Shiite brethren in their own self-determined Iraq.

Well, hasn't THAT rodomontade become obviously completely untrue?

Yet for 2008, it appears the same amorphous crowd wants to advance an extension thereof:"...and since what Bush has been doing is just choosing sides in a simple civil war we have no stake in or frets over, all we're going to stand for is partitioning Iraq into separate but equal tribes because THAT's what Iraq's government always wanted as a way to share power...THEY'VE always wanted that you know, not us, and help is on the way, people of Iraq, just as soon as Bush is out!!!!".

Today I received an email PSA from VoteVets in support of such sentiment, and here is what I said about it and shall comment to others:

"Via CSPAN last night, I watched a replay of President Bush and the ceremony for outgoing General Pace; I have always, do , and always will agree with their sentiments. Today I found the within forwarded VoteVets PSA telling me Bush policy has failed in Iraq...yes, it seems helping the Iraqis obtain to their own self-determination is not what Congressional non-Conservatives and rudderless opportunists wanted, oh and Petraeus isn't responsible for following orders pending, and because Bush did THAT instead of announce USA partitioning day one he HAS failed...don't worry, give Wesley Clinton Clark enough time, and he and his WILL invent how you can both oppose separate but equal WHILE endorsing partition, and how you can both defy Qaeda through calling Iraq spoils of war in aider of his puke AND not be running away and caving into his no democracy/no free trade mantra via complete exit and manifest USA collectivization run and composed by officials only."

To reiterate, I continue to believe that current criticism of President Bush re Iraq and the war on terror is wholly partisan and based on the wish and will of such critics, craven admirers thereof, and rudderless but ever profit seeking opportunists, there appearing no just reason to condemn the Mid-East plans of President Bush made in communion with Constitutional and traditional military and diplomatic parties.

It doesn't seem a good idea to gut Iraq action and general defense when you DON'T have a 1960's industrial-military complex, you'd be turning the globe over to forces hostile to that globe, and all because SCHIP or other Socialized or collectivized mass conversion into basically government run and government owned healtchcare and housing.

Biden Partition Resolution Undercuts Troops And Diplomacy.

I was asked for my opinion re the Biden partition Iraq sense of the Senate resolution that recently passed; within would be my comments.

On the one hand, not very long before the Biden resolution, the Senate condemned MoveOn.org for attacking General Petraeus; on the other, a resolution was passed reaffirming the position of his enemies in chief, a notion that the USA is a 1960's-style industrial-military behemoth with more military than the world has ever seen and is trying to unilaterally arrange Iraq and all nations to its liking and for its own enrichment on the bones of the conquered, as stepping stone to world domination.

That is the impression Osama bin Laden, Mymood Alibabajihad, and in fact most Islamic terrorists and supporters thereof espouse, and without much evidence thereof look the buffoons they are...dries up recruitment efforts better than even Wes Clark could pick them off.

It is a quizzical stance...in absence of Iraq's own government demanding partition or ANY change from present form, and assenting to Petraeus' successes...stepping up and saying "Bush lies, he serves the Congress and IT demands Iraq will be set to its exclusive superpower tune and as spoils of war even if the same some speaking also say no reason to go existed but why NOT partake".

Perhaps some mean to say Petraeus and our troops are so good and solid nothing can shake them from Laden land, should Qaeda draw more fighters or Iran robustly join in as Bush defends self-determination; yet others must know that anything that on top of Qaeda and Iran's President, telling Iraqis they will be treated as spoils of war once Bush is gone has GOT to undermine what our troops fought and died for, Petraeus secured, and our State Department attempts to nurture, in that even sans external combatants it might roil diverse Iraqis themselves.

For these reasons, I would respectfully submit that the relevant sense of Senate text be amnended to more clearly connote it is the sense of the Senate the President be directed to ask Iraq's sovereign government what form of nation it pursues under its own laws, and that once of proper record the President give all reasonable aid and accomodation; at present, it looks like that's what President Bush HAS been doing yet is being called a troop waster and swaggering Hitlerian annexation fiend by some.
