Top USA Christians Support Gospels Only Analogous For Salvation.

As a Universal Life Church minister (Christology), I sometimes hear things from "lost soul, repent of this false faith having no apostolic succession upon discernments, advanced degrees, and seminary, or face damnation even though you preach Christ's words and do good", to things public blogs don't let you post. All taken in stride, as I continue to say all you have to do is follow God's principles as Jesus defined same, and you're a brother or sister of Jesus even if you "follow" Him in your own non-New Testament way...no matter who you are. In fact, I espouse that anyone coincidentally in compliance with Jesus' teachings can be saved simply by internally earnestly inviting Him as the Son of God...no outward rituals or vocal prayers, not even water baptism(s) needed, as whether ala turning water to wine at Cana or declaring a Roman's son healed without seeing him, Jesus can do anything merely by intending it. Again, some Christians chide me saying Christ is self-limited as set forth in apostolic letters, can only work through special clergy, and anyone not part of "right" Churches will taste eternal Perdition.

Well, to such clergy, laity, and even officials who question "sincerity" of the simplicity of ULC for essentially preaching doing the right peaceable things re our Creator, I say more CONSERVATIVE, prominent USA clergy support my kind of Christology.

Two days ago, I received a copy of the October 2008 "The Torch", a quarterly gazette put out by "Christians United For Israel" (CUFI); its executive board is therein described as Pastor John C. Hagee, George Morrison, Gary Bauer (of American Values and Reagan Undersecretary of Education/Chief Domestic Policy Advisor), Keith A. Butler (Word Of Faith, broadcast worldwide), Pastor Mac Hammond, David Brog (former director, US Senate Judiciary Committee), Michael Little (president, CBN), and Rev. Jonathan Falwell (executive vice president of spiritual affairs, Liberty University).  The relevant issue manifestly describes about CUFI's July 2008 "Night To Honor Israel" in Washington, DC; therein photos depict GOP stars Mike Pence, John Cornyn, and Rick Santorum as CUFI enthusiasts.

To be clear, I absolutely do not tolerate anti-Semitism nor "anti" anybody at all peaceably upon earth. In that spirit, I puzzle when my own detractors say of CUFI in nature of: "Aw, if you read Romans Chapter 14-16, you'd know Paul stresses harmonious relations betweens Jews and Gentiles, meaning Iranians who were once Babylonians who enslaved Jews, not Jews and Christians...see, real clergy know Christ wants heathens to quiet down, not be blessed for unfaithfulness to apostolic writings and successions and daring to say THEY are capable of Godly clergy not seminary trained after Christian discernments...those Jews and Iranians are as bad as Godless ULC people!".

Not true of CUFI, one hopes; whereas even Romans is filled with suggestions...after Christ's earthly time...by Paul that God blesses Jews despite non-belief in Jesus' divinity (but requires belief by Christians), one must consider but not misconstrue all of Matthew Chapter 23. Therein Jesus excoriates ONLY Jewish clergy who teach counter to His teachings simple, yet without word one that failure to exult Him by other Jews leads to eternal condemnation. Thus, Paul seems to say that even non-clergy Jews, and Jewish clergy where apropos,  are as blessed as Christians, all together simply needing to live by analog to what Jesus said to merit God's smile. Surely, otherwise referring to non-Jews globally simply as pagan or non-pagan Gentiles, and wanting all mankind to be analogous to Christ and not see themselves better or less than Jews, Paul was not preaching Calvinism of any kind.

Some may still say: "But that 'Torch' issue has an article attributed to Mac Hammond's wife, and she says whole nations are 'goats' (accursed by God) if picking on Israel...that means every Muslim in Syria or Iran or wherever de facto is of no value to God because of their governments!". Not true; I point out that even re Sodom, the angels and God tell Abraham that for the sake of even just ten good citizens thereof, had any been there, Sodom would be spared anyway (Genesis 18:22-32). Since the rulers of Sodom enforced a false homosexuality (Genesis 19:5) as a credential proving allegiance to official credo social justice was unnecessary (Isaiah Chapters 1, 3), the dislocated and disadvantaged didn't matter (Ezekiel 16:46-51), and that true power came from worshipping evil (Jeremiah 23:9-14), again non-innate homosexuality being the anointed badge, recognized by Sodom's leaders, God said He wouldn't destroy it if He found just ten people whose hearts behind badges weren't truly centered on adoring evil simple...the goal of Sodom no matter its badges.

This is where I as a Christian go foggy on the concept of "Iran's government, Qaeda, and Hamas are inter-cultural threats, thus all Muslims on earth are permanent goats"; neither do I see how an alleged "badge of Sodom" minus any devotion to evil is "proof" of evil itself. Being a Muslim or any faith or atheist not seeking evil; being straight or LSBGT and not seeking evil, siding with Paul that superapostles have no greater connection to God because of money or slick credentials/ephemera; saying that God is spirit and our souls (not shades, shapes, challenges of bodies) are His image; earnest failure to see how God gives a soul much before delivery, given nature of stillbirths and miscarriages...these seem not such "badges of evil" earning God's wrath where no evil to liveborn is sought...nor do true badges of true evildoers, in God's words, seem to be held against even ten or more of an evildoer's race, gender, nation, what have you, who do not seek evil.

For these reasons, I continue to concur with Conservative Christians no Biblical requirement for God's blessings exists other than simple analog living as Christ espoused, that no apostolic network from Christ through to believers is required for salvation or clergy efficacy, and that Judaism is not a per se menace to the world; but I respectfully submit there is no Biblical case for claiming only Christians or Jews earn salvation through good works analogous to Christ, nor for withholding fellowship from anyone at all so living without harming the liveborn, nor for saying a few bad apples of any collective spoils the bunch itself living analogous to Christ. I cite St. Augustine, "On Christian Doctrine", Book I, Chapter 36, point 40 re my belief that Holy Scripture must always be interpreted in a way which builds up twofold love of God and neighbor.

That said, I continue to pray for God's blessings and mercy upon CUFI members and all people of earth, and I have posted the within foregoing opinion as fair comment re President Obama's new rules for faith-based initiatives and non-discrimination.

While Fun To Scare Selves, Last Fall's Bailout Intent Depends On Unitary Power's Discernment.

It sure is scary and doubt-inducing to hear so many right-wing and especially neocons (those who say executive pay should be ever-upward, and ever-unchecked) crow how the sky is now falling under "the Obama and Democrat timulus plan, which costs more than the mere $86 billion Bush thought he got back in September 2008...that's why nothing improved right away, and all those jobs are first now being lost in reaction to fear of Democrats and Obama...and Bush and the GOP just had this plan on how $86 billion could save everyone at home and abroad, all further linchpinned to GITMO and all its warts".

Well, Bush got about $1 trillion in Wall Street bailout bucks last Fall, and set his policies exactly where he wanted them immediately; further, in December 2008 he used unitary power to give a further $25 billion to the auto industry...of course, all the warts in the world about GITMO and needing to suspect EVERYONE of terrorism were just small prices to pay for the way big changes from an economy going light speed into catastrophe would come in just six short months.

Six months later, we find a new President, and find that in the absence of a consent simple that his unitary power be used to effect all things more in line with expectations of the everyday USA population in its diversities, the same old rapid economic decline, demands to leave Bush terror war tactics alone, demands to use public money for religions to effectuate discrimation in social services given them otherwise prohibited by law,  and cries that 2002's Sarbanes-Oxley are all we need to keep corporate abuses down...this is all we get.

In sum, in September 2008 Congress gave President Bush authority to use his unitary powers over all USA money to effectuate a change from what had been to something better; while not manifestly changing the sum given to Bush, Congress is merely attempting to authorize President Obama to do no more than expected Bush to have at least initiated.

When gainsayers to Obama say they have plans on the cheap which will fix all, those are the same plans they insisted Bush use and up to the November 2008 election insisted they were most proud of in the Bush Presidency, expressing hope a McCain Presidency would extend them...have they worked, and if not, why should Obama not be given a chance to see if he can better articulate Congressional Fall 2008 legislative intentions into reality?

Really, all the auto-gainsaying media and neocons and related officials are doing is trying to convince the remaining public they never would have been in tight times themselves but for Obama, and that everyone who succumbed to the economy before them are anecdotal pockets of life's natural foul-ups who need more discipline than any other mercy whatsoever; in short, today's Obama critics simply don't want a sweet thing for an ever-rarifying few to end, and if they can just beat this Fairness Doctrine thingy too, they'll "one side" their way into our minds along lines in nature which would have us believe even chicken soup can sit up and recite Plato...for some, it appears appears doubt and fear are all tehy care to offer us in hopes of our "betterment".

I say, wait until six months to a year of an Obama Presidency have produced noticeable change, and if not, THEN you've got specifics from which to complain, or mediocre progress...but at least progress...which you can then design to show how you'd improve.

GOP Full Of Beans People Don't Trust Democrats Or Change Thereunder.

One wonders where a porn starlet gets the neocon funding and public relations spin, as a proposed Democrat challenger to GOP Senator Vitter of Louisiana; of course, the pornographer would be just one name running, but isn't it handy how a Bush-driven neocon media atmosphere just whisks her up as if to have SOMETHING to make it plausible somehow Americans don't like Dems, so by extension, they gag on Democrat change?

Well, perhaps the GOP has gone senile; we ALL recall what the GOP majorities did for us on pain of plain dissolving filibusters and other traditions, we know they are the most enamored of neocons and likely find kinship with their neo-Louisiana icon getting big cash from SOMEBODY who has it, and no...people aren't going to believe Democrats want to end religion, have all turn to porn for jobs, practice same-sex bacchanalias and more with intent to flip birds at God, or otherwise give us what the GOP has already delivered.

No, folks I've spoken with don't seem to think the aforesaid rise above wedge issues re elections simple, if that at all. But we DO spot that the no-ideas GOP thus mean to indicate...hold on for this shocking revelation...staying the course Bush, Chenehy, Delay et al have set our ship of State (and States!) upon, not THEIR legislative intent to have any change there whatsoever...gays, pornos, and non-Calvinist religious stamped out or not.

President Obama is correct no single omnibus bill, or standalone bill, could possibly be hammered out for at least a decade if we went that route. Knowing the background of many issues and persons in public service, I respectfully observe the GOP is gainsaying for no other purpose than to go on record as being 'Nay' to any change whatesoever to the domestic issues, and penchant for blaming any other ethnics or nations for their relevant aacta, motivating voters to have supported Democrats and Obama last November.

President Bush used fuzzy slam-through bills so that as a unitary power, he could best set about doing what he understood the legislative intent of Congress to be, beyond the mere words of any bills; I repose special confidence in President Obama to interpret any Congressional bill for change from the aforesaid, especially where GOP restricts itself in nature of refusing to admit jobs are important let alone being lost while arguing Churches should discriminate against people in need money is taken from, and I believe President Obama is quite capable of using his unitary Presidential power to effectuate the obvious intent of the majority of both Houses that positive and people-inclusive change from what has been occur instanter or with minimum delays.

Public As Well As Executives Should Bear Bailout Caps.

It certainly seems true that a number of executives in firms being the recipients of Federal bailouts have sought to abuse the cash flow; on the other hand, there seems a fungible salient re the public in our times.

Media here and I'm sure elsewhere are abuzz with skyrocketing unemployment, on top of the miasma causing bailouts and on top of inability for most people to get credit for commercial, educational, or personal endeavors. Concurrently, of the amorphous comparatively few who can get advertising on mass media, a lot of it here is constantly peppered with: law firms reiterating their general availability to file class or personal liability and punitive damages claims; and companies urgin that if one can get a structured Court settlement of any kind whatsoever, one may approach them for upfront buyout of such settlement.

Now, most of us know, for example, that the USA Roman Catholic Church is perceived as a monolithic edifice, further charged by many public bodies as if to completely handle public distributions of social service and immigration-related funds...i.e., in times where many people are in financial tailspins, to some they might make excellent targets for renewed lawsuits based on steamroller, high shock value allegations in hopes of producing a quick settlement. Indeed, local media here the past few weeks have reported Catholic Priests around Illinois suddenly slammed with allegations of being literal child-porn drug lords out of rectory offices, child molsters literally on their altars, and the like, often with attendant defacements to their Church (which can be caused from lawbreaking disgruntled persons upon hearing of bare charges, persons in league with complainers to "slip convincers", or anything else wrongly undertaken in reaction to such news).

It would seem necessary and fair, on such grounds as aforesaid, that the public not be able to "jackpot" in re Presidentially-guided faith initiatives nor against any company involved in provision of bailout intendments. Just as the public should not expect bailout cash to be scarfed up by a relatively few execs, neither should the government nor bailees have to expect mass chunks can be taken away via nuisance lawsuits.

I would respectfully suggest as or in the nature that: any faith organization receiving Federal or any public funds have such funding suspended if any criminal or civil complaint is lodged against its agents; that should faith initiative or corporate bailees' agents settle out of Court to avoid judgment against them, rather than see a suit through, such faith or corporate entity should be banned for ten years at least from participating with public funds, or minimally be investigated by the highest relevant law authorities for criminal probe; that the public should be capped in damage allegation recoveries against public bailees or funded initiatives, specifically being limited to actual costs of damage or restoration to full mental health simple (no housing, maintenance, or jackpot trappings), reasonable costs thereof and interest thereon, together with reasonable costs of Court action; and that such "gloves" stay on against a bailee or funded intiative only until such time as the Office of Faith-Based Initiatives is rescinded, or in the case of corporations such unit has repaid its bailout money and no longer subject to executive pay caps.

Re the certain Conservative Senate objections re faith bills, I think it is fair of a President expected to maintain the Bush Office of Faith Based Initiatives to require no faith unit discriminate in God's intention of sharing with love toward one another; also, it seems a more proper Constitutional respect to not use Federal or other public money to promote the teaching of divinity matters nor to confer degrees therein nor to pay for religious activities peculiar to a faith unit...one thing if my or someone else's folks can form activities on their own, another if the State must fund us INTO being, instead of help us help others; also, who really wants State accrediting boards establishing secular standards for what is and isn't a "true faith" or "true faith doctrine" in re peaceable religions? Sounds a lot like the very intrusion of government into religious control even Conservatives disdain in OTHER nations.

That is my opinion as a USA national and voter re issues present at a time President Obama is soliciting for people to have house meetings re the stimulus and what it should do.

Cheney Needs To Git Mo' Real.

Dick Cheney has laid down to America the most devastating revelation...he and the Bushies/neocons are the only ones who can keep us safe from terror; sure you arrest people you can't even prove anything about to uber-strict military tribunals, sure you say folks returned to a field of battle who were never there and even the military says are likely everyday folks ala the USA terror watch list getting confused with the thieves, sure you call folks like Pakistan's Mushareff an ally in terror war even IF he provides safe haven for Qaeda and Mumbai bombers, sure you squelch rights blah blah blah and torture to look busy if not the least productive re interrogation/capture of KNOWN in-your-face photo op terrorists you're always "scared" about. See, this kind of fun goes on at GITMO, but blind sheiks who actually DID mastermind 911 in the USA could be held and sentenced to Supermax prison in Colorado after run of the mill civilian Court trial...did anyone notice it was the Bush/Cheney administration who did that, without any more tether to GITMO than  anything/anyone else has shown? All Obama rationally wants to do is continue the sane Bush era prosecution theory without go-nowhere GITMO horrors.
And maybe that "ALL Ay-Rabs enemies" world isn't telling us to bend our knees or face jihadists flown in by the megatons to strike left and right, unless Saudis or Iran's Alibabajihad or Hamas or blah own USA/European banks and property and all global religion and freedoms end in a global feudalism. Maybe there is every chance nobody except those most funding Darfur Janjaweeds, Somali Qaedans, Pakistani pro-terror officials, and the like...and merely making pacts of steel to be left alone by them if they all stick together against everyone else on earth...are the only ones actively and constantly warning us of what they have personal knowledge of what terrorists will do if change anywhere by anyone, or whatever du jour, and to comply re threats or face a "hit(s)"...and remember, NO economic or rights devolution could ever get low enough to constitute a "success terrorist strike against the USA economy and global trade", as long as "right-thinking" officials reign forever on some political apostolic succession.

Yes, terrorists ARE killers, just like Mafias, Red Brigades, blah blah blah down to the Army of God and its advocacy of arson and murder against abortion clinics and staff. These types have existed since the dawn of time and in every culture on earth; these types are driven by exerting rapist-mentality control over whoever they please or are hired against as mercenaries; they have no cohesive reasonings to hate and will kill even their own as pure mercenaries; and in short, are just chronic abusers period...and how many readers out there can honestly say it is past, present, and future human nature that most of mankind is near daily ready to wipe out everybody out or stands behind loon leaders who advocate that, anywhere on earth?

Presently, it looks like most Muslims and Arabs are still working in the Bush/Obama sane elimination theory of anti-terrorism; I cite as current examples of mass Arab support against jihadism and thus against America thinking it has to fret on their parts news stories currently at http://www.arabnews.com/?page=1&section=0&article=118898&d=5&m=2&y=2009&pix=kingdom.jpg&category=Kingdom to show level of effrots of Saudis, and http://www.arabnews.com/?page=4&section=0&article=118812&d=3&m=2&y=2009 to suggest Muslim anti-terror in India.

I know for a fact in the USA and elsewhere, Jews are afraid to say they're Jewish/Congregation members, with some pols/media inferring Muslims and all else hate them; Hindus are treated as fishy, possibly Mushareffians in league with killers; Latinos are told they "resemble" Arabs often; Muslims are told they are suspects because of the easy gait of Janjaweed/Qaeda/et al abroad if no other reasons; Christians are walking around thinking athesits, Jews and Muslims hate them...on it goes for everyone. And I myself have been hit with objects and slurs from passing cars because I am a Christian who believes in right as Jesus, St. Augustine, Martin Luther, Martin Luther King Jr, and Thomas Aquinas might agree...I do not believe in turning my back on anyone due to race/peaceful religious practice/ethnicity/gender and such, and consider even Muslims treated poorly as much victims of Islamic terrorists as people (INCLUDING Muslims) killed or dominated on account of unchecked terrorist presence.

The only thing different about such Arab and Muslim solidarity in eliminating terror cells simple, and most of them wishing people everywhere well, is that today there is a White House which doesn't scoff at them, then set about giving THEM plenty of things to overcome in perceptions of America while telling USA populations moneymen who don't cut you in will likely turn to terrorist aide if you try to change trickle down as they define it...now the question is, who if anyone would Cheney, FOX, Limbaugh and company say such haters of democracy, economic improvements and freedom are?

Reply Objections To Premise GITMO Sole Hope Against Terrorism.

The Pentagon’s own reports on detainees who have returned to the battlefield are unreliable and false according to its own data and prior reports, sometimes including duplicate names, names of people who never at Guantánamo and people who have never left their homelands.

Several convicted terrorists have been prosecuted and successfully incarcerated in high-security federal prisons --including Colorado's Supermax facility -- without posing any risk to the public's safety, including Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind sheik convicted in the first World Trade Center attacks.

Dangerous criminals who have committed horrible crimes are locked up in prisons all over this country every day and nobody wages campaigns objecting to that. This is clearly a politically motivated fear-mongering effort from those who wish to perpetuate the Bush administration's failed illegal detention policies.

Daley: Foreign Bank Owners Won't Lend Bailout If Their Folks Can't Have It All?

Waxing musefully over the sesquipedalian rodomontades of a decade re immigration and a resultant white-hot USA economy for nationals and immigrants together, it occurred to me a lot of double-talk, concurrent pro/con positioning from same mouths, flew from every media and political oracle. You used to hear, for example, Mayor Daley back in the 1990's say that ever-growing New Urbanism would result in jobs, plus rich people coming to live in the new high-priced everything, which thus would even further stimulate local personal economies; immigrants from all over Latin America poured in, classed by media/officials as all "Mexicans", and were to told not to fret about repaying Su Casa New Urban housing, State healthcare costs, et al...trabajo would soon be theirs, as America is still a huge industrial edifice in fact needing to go green it pollutes with so much good wage job-related byproducts.

Ah, how most of us together today chuckle at that sort of stuff, eh? And right now, domestically and foreign-owned (e.g., Saudi Citibank) have lots of New Urban Chicago and USA locales where they could use USA bailout money to create factories, offices, jobs...right now, just don't ask WHAT or WHERE, as usual; um, it also seems to need NEW schools that current diverse racial/ethnic/religious educators may not be a part of.

More relevant double-talk: Pope Benedict XVI has concurrently made Holocaust denial (genocide ignoring) a part of allowable faith doctrine as well as something he immediately condemns; confusing, no? The same thing goes with modern RC soul/resurrection theory: see, if you are rotten as can be to people, lie, effectuate as if you were "only following orders" re anything smelly at all, the soul dies with the body and rots together with it, so if between your life and the Parousia, if people come round and say what you did...even violative of all Ten Commandments...Christ in the end will resurrect you and forgive you like latter day clergy did. Unless as a nuisance you're a Catholic who believes the Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologica defintion of soul such that it goes for judgment immediately after leaving the body...then of course, YOU'RE right too! Just persona non grata, like those who don't align with the pro-Islamic ironfist rulers who want the Jews gone or no peace.

In the Chicago archdiocese, you certainly are branded "medieval" and a "pest" of questionable mentality and future mental health if you have, say, a Fulton Sheen view of Roman Catholicism; if you believe that you and your family come before even at the loss of others based on others not sharing your religious credo, then the devil can have those others and the small "real church" will go forward. If nothing else, all will be worked out when at Parousia Christ sees the only remaining Christians, no matter how few, agree that those cut down in between were of no sinful loss. This, Chicago just gave $1 million to ensure its continued teaching due to lack of archdiocese parishoners (ALL OF LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES) having the cash themselves.

Now, Mayor Daley says he is NO enemy of Israel, in fact, a vehement ally thereof (q.v., e.g., http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/950120,iran051508.article )...indeed, the MEDIA Daley insists anyone who attacks Israel will be treated as if they attacked his Roman Catholic being personally. Certainly, MEDIA Daley would never side with Mymood Alibabajihad, Hamas, Hezzbollah, Qaeda, blah blah blah.

At the same time, Mayor Daley is now in the Mid East, per USA media, alleging there will soon be non-stop flights from (not "TO and from", one notes) Saudi Arabia which "will bring business to Chicago" and the USA...um, no, nobody's said what industry(ies), where, how may jobs, or why the Saudis need to see Daley before even Citicorp can lend out a cent of bailout bucks.

One hopes that unlike his Pope, this time Daley isn't just pulling our leg, or that the motif for this Presidential term is to bring in assorted African/Mid East Muslims on ruse to them they'll have houses and jobs and healthcare, while we lazybones/terroristic/racist/nationalist/VAWAbusive blah blah blah white, non-white, Hispanic, Hindu, and so forth wait in fretful expectation of these "next" well-to-do immigrants to first house themselves, then deliver an economy for all so bright we gotta wear shades.

I mean no invidiousness presently to Daley or Saudi government, and certainly to any Muslims or anyone else who might get as fast a shuffle as the rest of us do; it's just that there IS a pattern over the last 15 years, the world IS where it's at, few leading faces have changed; we hear "Blagojevich blah blah blah", but not one thing Blago "blahed" is ever followed upon to see what it is and if anybody is STILL continuing "blah" in his absence...makes it seem that rather than CAUSING much folks shouldn't like, he was getting in the way of its superfast expansion(s)...would not accelerating whatever bad deals, plans, whatever, just make everybody doing it "mini-Blagos" from now on? When all we get is shrinking jobs, broadcast media, and media outlets generally, amid infinite double-talk, it can be hard to spot the change for the forest.

New Papal Bull: Appease World's Worst With Whatever It Takes?

It recently came to my attention ( http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/25/world/europe/25pope.html ) Pope Benedict XVI has lifted excommunications against 4 Roman Catholic Bishops, said interdicts imposed 20 years ago by Pope John Paul II on cause these Bishops deny any Holocaust (sacrificial of the Catholic faith simple or otherwise) against the Jews under NOT Germans, but Adolf Hitler and those in league with him; these Bishops are not required to perform such reconciliation as John Paul II required, in that Benedict XVI wishes them to continue denying said Holocaust, necessarily imputing it is within and part of the exercise of Roman Catholic faith doctrine to promulgate and preach such denial.

Separately, groups like Amnesty International are currently petitioning Secretary of State Clinton to launch independent investigation into “USA war crimes” committed by, so the malarkey must be, fabricating Jews instigating attacks against Hamas and targeting civilians ab initio with eye to Jews and USA military offering Hamas a final solution to Jewish supremacy in the Mid East. Oh, so THAT’s why the Hamas ancient public credo is death to Israel, Jews, and anyone who harbors them thereafter. Hey, it’s not ME who needs a rubber room, huh?

Now, to be sure, it doesn’t help to have a Pope running around exhorting that Jews are perfidious liars and that a racist USA is prone to helping them…look at what happened to innocent Nazis due to USA/Jewish simpatico, eh? Like Obama, those folks back when faced Nazis in hopes of hope, freedom, and change; hope that’s not why Roman Catholic clergy in Georgia threatened to excommunicate anyone who voted for Obama…unless you really believe being pro-gay civil union or pro-abortion trumps a Supreme Pontiff urging Church-wide repudiation of anyone who acts like FDR in time of trouble.

Let’s now see what the heck one necessarily has to re-educate about World War II and the Cold War to maintain “American pals helped Jew liars” in re the Holocaust: John Paul II was a Jewish mouthpiece lying about being in a Nazi concentration camp as prisoner himself, with hopes of destroying the “real Scriptures” of the only Master Church; Hey, France, Poland…no Nazis annexed you, Blitzkrieged you, or both, you anti-Muslim, anti-Nazi Jew lovers…Hamas only carries on Hitler’s brave quest for their own and earth’s freedoms; Hey, gays, gypsies, everyday Germans…none of you died at Nazi hands; Hey, Lutherans, disciples of Martin Luther, Master Heretic anyway…your Dietrich Bonhoeffer was not hanged by Nazis in Flossenburg concentration camp in April 1945; Hey, fellow Roman Catholics…Max Kolbe, for some time a 20th century Church Saint elevated on grounds he was a Priest who took another’s place and was murdered by Nazi lethal injection…what a lie, since everyone NOW knows it was Eisenhower staging all that, no doubt with the help of Jew-controlled media; Hey, Americans…Stalin never machine-gunned Russians into pits, the KGB WAS keeping Russia and Eastern Europe safe from USA/Jew lies with “tough love”, and anti-Communism Roman Catholic Archbishop Fulton John Sheen was a madman obsessed with medievalism and Satanic thoughts of every faith on earth getting along in one spirit of God…make HIM a Saint? Hooccccchhhhhhhhh!

No, oddly, Amnesty International and the Vatican haven’t gone that far, yet. They just repeat the mistakes of prior internationalists, who swore that squelching criticism of Nazis would appease them, and cause them to relax, be benevolent to their own folks, and spread good cheer in every nation they entered (though having Death Heads as kepi insignia!); Benedict XVI simply repeats the Pope Pius snafu: Pius called pre-1939 Hitler the “defender of the faith” despite Hitlerian calls for Jew hatred, then Hitler went on his rampages including making runic Teutonic mythology the State religion, so that’s how Hitler repaid Papal butt kissing. Benedict treats Hamas the same way, on Franciscan belief they’ll behave if we do, love Jews more if we do, and keep us safe from Qaeda and such as Hitler promised Pius bulwark against Communist aggression.

Today’s companion Franciscan internationalism seems to include labeling the USA as “racist” on any old blindly tossed dart(s) that can be spun to stick; if at first you fail externally to whip up that all USA officials are racist/elitist against their own diverse populations, next try to prove Muslims are the target of the entire USA population. The latest latter gambit was the Iraqi woman on USA welfare, already with six children, who had welfare pay to impregnate her with EIGHT more children it currently seems barely more than welfare will support. Godsters jump on raised eyebrows, saying “God’s sharing of life, you accursed non-sex haver on grounds you’re jobless and in foreclosure! Bet YOU’D have an abortion!”; they forget 2 Peter 2:18-19…do they really think Muslim…perhaps ALL…women’s dream is to be artificially impregnated, have an unemployed or absent father, with little more than such women in children living in a kept welfare status?

Now, the Vatican claims it may say Papal, and global diocesan flip-flops, are just ala 1 Corinthians 9:19-26…they’re just taking all positions to appease all voices so they may bind those who would interfere with empowerment of every man, woman, and child on earth. But with so many governments from Eritrea to Nepal to China to the USA and almost everywhere taking over, or faith influencing, faiths including Christianity, and insisting upon the expansion of rights- and income-free subsistence cultures, does the Vatican plan seem to produce much success? Denying the Holocaust in deference to those sitting on their own people, threatening global attacks, or both, willing to say AIDS not Janjaweed kills so many in Darfur, implying WOZA is but uppity Zimbabwe women, and slapping at the USA as if its people ARE wealthy racists being the world’s sole holdout on global Socialism…sounds more like clergy becoming part of the problem, misleading those who would flee totalism into being sacrifices, so idols will give such clergy alone freedom to then at least protect God’s eternal Scriptures intact as artwork only.

For these reasons, I respectfully submit that through making it permissible in faith to deny the Holocaust, on grounds it will “keep the USA safe and empowered”, or otherwise through aligning with aggressor positions, the Roman Catholic Church ought not be permitted continued handling of large public government Treasury funds, without let/hindrance/oversight, as a major current distributor of Federally transferred immigration and social services programs.

Spiritually, I say we must forgive such clergy their weakness; I myself hold no personal rancor(s), and regularly say a Chaplet of Divine Mercy including for all the world’s faiths and clergy. That does not mean the secular world need continue any particular bad idea(s) whenever and from whoever same emanate. As it is, the City of Chicago last week granted $1 million to the Roman Catholic archdiocese solely for educating youth in Vatican ephemera, apparently on grounds this will look like a “peace bond” to aggressors happy with Benedict’s inclusion of anti-Holocaust preaching.

Lenten Reflection On Resurrection.

With Ash Wednesday and start of Lent being just a few weeks away, and with many Christians around the world preparing for annual programs for renewing the spirit in Christ, His life, death, and Resurrection, I'd like to take a moment to reflect upon the incidentals of resurrection.
Some reverent of Christ believe in the constant immortality of the soul, such that souls will go to Heaven or Perdition even if a resurrection occurs at a later date re the body; others believe they must reject the idea of constant immortality of the soul, citing the Apostles’ Creed reference to the resurrection of the body…they believe the soul stops existing together with the body until some far-off resurrection and judgment.

It is said by some scholars that the root cause, of such opposing views, is vested in one school of thought believing original Greek Scriptures use the word (phonetically) “soma” which implies but not necessarily means “whole person” re death and resurrection; such school believes the more definitive word (phonetically) “sarx”, meaning “flesh” or corpse”, would have been used if writers meant to say a body alone dies…this view further does not believe in construing Scriptures as a whole, rather as a line-by-line collage of severable revelations, instructions, or non-parabolic revelations.

The other school simply doesn’t interpret “soma” so literally and narrowly.

The early Christian faith first met such doctrinal dispute through a movement known as the Averroists, who vested themselves further on the text of “De Anime” (The Soul) by Aristotle. Aristotle therein makes plain that he does, at least, believe that the intellect…which he considers to be a part of the soul claimed to die with the body…is eternal and separable from the body.

Perhaps the most important if obscure argument in “De Anime” is Aristotle’s demonstration of the immortality of the thinking part of the human soul, in the book’s Chapter V. Taking a premise from his “Physics”, that as a thing acts so it is, he argues that since the mind acts with no bodily organ, it exists without the body (or brain). And if it exists apart from matter, therefore it cannot be corrupted, and therefore the human mind is immortal.

What seems a difficult salient in the Averroist position, admittedly basing itself upon Aristotle, is that neither they nor their relied-upon philosopher can explain why, then, if even the tiniest part of a soul is immortal it concurrently rots into nothingness together with other earthbound remains, or then why one shouldn’t believe a non-earthbound element goes forward despite no resurrection yet occurring.

Now, some could resort to the vibrant and time-consuming relevant essays of: Plato, “Phaedo”; Aristotle, “Physics”, ‘generation And Corruption”, “Metaphysics”, “De Anime”, inter alia; St. Augustine Of Hippo, “Confessions”, “City Of God”, “On Christian Doctrine”; Thomas Aquinas, “Summa Theologica”; or any number of works through to modern times which either glaze over the ancient Averroist glitch about the immortality of intellectual souls, pressing the point on new twists on old if misplaced reasoning, or in the alternative simply run with the propriety of belief in the immortality of souls with or without resurrection.

But where non-believers in Christianity or just non-believers in constant soul immortality challenge traditional Scripture on resurrection…and anyone who wants has an absolute right freedom of religion or non-religion to challenge peaceably…it seems enough o direct any such third party inquiring to long-established tomes giving such reasoned Christian point/counter-point, and let such seekers choose as they will.

As for those professing otherwise acceptance of the known sayings of Jesus Christ, whether such people believe in soul apart from body or soul rotting with body pending resurrection…congratulations, at least we all agree on Jesus and believe IN resurrection!

That said, perhaps we ought not so much see which, if any, of us is the greatest disciple due to our knowledge of ancient Greek, Aramaic, Latin, Hebrew, dialectical reasonings of our forebears, or ability to discern proportions of pre-resurrection death; maybe we should spend more time on using such gifts to bring Christ’s intentions intact to modern times, remembering in all matters it is not the nature of what we do, but our reasons for and manner of doing anything, that make what we do either praiseworthy or blamable.

May Christ continue to walk with us as our light as we seek to make as many on earth our partners in peace, justice, and use of God’s diverse gifts in honoring His will for infinite positive creation and fellowship.

Rescinding Unitary Presidential Trade Power Would Give GOP Voice In Exact Recovery Ideas.

Yes, the monikers for me are Republican and Conservative; no, I absolutely never, say, have a teleprompter before me into which Karl
Rove (via blackberry or whatever) or Dubya (via Etch-A-Sketch or whatever) or any Howard Dean or James "Ragin' Cajun" Carville ( via 1000Gdb speakers or whatever) "present my ideas and perspectives".

But one of myriad aggregated media and government awareness tools your truly employs may currently be found at
http://www.economyincrisis.org/?gclid=COf_pd2OrZgCFRk_awodHUCOnQ ; when reviewing this or more formal documentations and analysis, I use the sum of my experience and fond memories of the works of folks such as Hannah Arendt, F.A. Hayek, and William Frank Buckley, Jr. .

This is why I have serious questions about the nature of  ANY USAPresident mulling "aid to Africa" via USA budgets, and concurrently
verily believe...on such information as within afore-described...that there remains a serious bipartisan if not omnipartisan doubt that Bush
era policies, foreign and domestic, could sail on and work simply by having Obama or any "Not Bush" at the helm.

This is important if enigmatic where Congress does not vote to allow itself full treaty-engendering powers, and willl continue "take it or
leave it" votes on whatever Obama presents; assumedly, Obama like Bush could just do as he pleases (whatever that may be in futuro) as "no" votes in such scenario simply mean "sail on, oh captian ours, and PLEASE try to invent something as you roll along a unitary power by grant of ceding Congressional responsibility to you".

In sum, I respectfully submit that if Congress will rescind Presidential unitary trade powers, and instead propose and enact or defeat trade initiatives as the manifest majority of Congressional jurisdictional intentions, GOP in both Houses (and "grassroots" and other PACs) who currently auto-fear-monger re Obama could then have opportunity to forthrightly plead their voters' and American peoples' interests as said GOP interpret them to be, as would Democrats and others, and all voters would know service of representatives while the democratic principle of majority representative votes would guide enactments, defeats, and veto overrides (if any).

Voting Bush trade unitary power allowed even Congressional "No!!" sentiments to be overrun by Presidential War On Terror powers in that all he, as a vested unitary power in such relation, had to do was claim and not prove anything he did re trade (or anything else)...in his opinion as commander-in-chief in a war against nebulous indefinites of no numeric grand magnitude...would "keep us safe", even if he aligned himself curiously with foreign leaders admitting own uses of Qaeda, Janjaweed, inter alia; one hopes the GOP complainants of today aren't simply hoping for Obama to inherit such unitary powers to fund the globe, neocon pursuits, and Calvinist government-led theologies around the world in Bush fashion, one man (say a President) easier to media-slam et al than a Congress...with GOP then actually blaming Obama for ANY spending and "treadings upon world religion and terror toes", campaigning later for election that THEY will return to 'proper' spendings and 'keep us safe again withuot a military'...and expect this as the new eternal sine curve of USA politics.

Africa Next Latin America As USA Immigrants Who WANT To Work?

I have always had an interest in Africa, the second-largest of earth's continents after Asia. In my early boyhood, my family included clergy of the Roman Catholic Church who performed humanitarian and educational missionary work there, this being the 1960's when many of today's African nations were first emerging or not yet present; as an adult "Buckley" Conservative, and in such nature always a freedom advocate globally, I have shared in the tears and joys of seeing apartheid end in South Africa, particularly in the former Rhodesia.

However, we must consider the state and composition of the present day Africa; I would respectfully direct readers to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africa for a manifestly accurate crash course in Africa dynamics generally.

Now, first off, Africa contains Caucasians, Arabs, and non-white indigenous peoples, ranging from the nomadic to the well-to-do; there is no one single "people of Africa" today, nor any one "religion of the continent". Second, some places are more or less okay, but too many contain Janjaweed/Bashir/Darfur or similar death squad-style governance; for many years, Western and USA groups have raised very much money for the children, AIDS, and starving people in such lands, yet by Bono's/ONE's current plaints to absolutely no avail. Third, clergy of all sorts often find their hands tied these days, as for example in Eritrea where a few years ago the government arrested native priests and their Patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Church, replaced them with government-installed clergy, and kept the Patriarch to this day under house arrest.

Clearly, just throwing infinite money infinitely to the "bad boys" of assorted African governments won't work; and if you'll compare the size of Africa to arable/habitable North America including Canada, it's not even close that we could airlift all the African continent to our hemisphere, set them up in New Urbanism, and run it all on free healthcare, imported foods and grains, and generally sedentary-lifestyle Socialism in the provision (and thus "State's health comes before individuals" say-so renditioning from) of just about everything; to boot, the perennial clods abroad would STILL be there, constantly sending such "surplus" to our neck of the woods for whatever is....deemed fit?....by who's in charge any given day.

There is an element out there which sees itself as poised to be monopolistic in the industries (like autos, medicines, inter alia) providing en masse swiftly made if riskily QC passed products for such literal "house arrest" society, and like Liberals, clergy, and Bono types also wants to "help Africa" desperately...if on wholly different "altruism".

But at a time when so many are saying not even folks with sterling credit and income can get credit from bailed-out institutions, whether through say Bush-level William Blair & Co or even Capital One; where jobs and abilities to open small or ANY business locations are dwindling at light speed; and where it's better to restrict Federal mental power to just suing Blagojevich, and hold up a new Attorney General and Treasury Secretary, rather than see a Fitzgerald or similar US Attorney sic themselves on whoever's log jamming all of America's cash, one hopes the only "change" some will allow isn't simply "change Africans for Hispanics for eight years" while the march for neocon monopolies and a totalism-policed sedentary society remains the only game in town.

Surely, such would make progress of a kind slow but inevitable, per Obama's Inaugural speech; one hopes Obama really means more that he will support the African Union re G-20 membership, human rights and local healthcare improvements, that kind of Hayek/Buckley-friendly stuff, with America then to lead by example while encouraging democratic inclusion and control of other peoples' cultures in their own present lands, that they may trade and grow in unique cultural ways...which preserve the ethnic diversity of the African continent, and recognize there is no Doudou Diene bullet to dodge in such regard.

One would hope America will avoid a manifest "change" simply being taking Bush's: "All Latinos are Mexicans, Mexicans want to work, slacker anecdotal USA types fill volunteer things on credit, Mexicans need compassion as they aid us in the war on gathering storms and terror just by being here so give 'em whatever they need if apparently totalist or Socialist in substance, watch all people of any faiths who have religious interests outside government-led Churches on ruse Islam works that way and so does militant jihadism (talk about a real crusade!), have the government coincidentally fund Churches open to transfer to them of all public welfare under pro-discrimination Calvinist/Puritan predestination beliefs allowing some to be deemed damned or saved by clergy, and expand monoplistic provision of healthcare and goods via select few sources even if on poor quality controls", and under Obama then manifestly the same government types saying: "Ditto, just replace with the word 'Africans' wherever the word 'Mexican' was seen in Bushspeak".

Modernizing Scope Of Reparations And Retrofitting Clunkers.

Congress.org today asks people to chime in with opinions to Congress re current House bills 15, 40, 414, 346, 390, 227, 254, 113, 202, 116, 126, 160, 155, 162, 87, 25, 70; so further, opinions re current Senate bills 30, 213, 247, 151.

I only have one said House bill I notice needs work: HR 40, a bill to pay reparations to USA African-Americans for slavery ended not later than 1871; few if any experiencing a USA depriving them of housing, food, child rearing aid, and so forth would seem to be alive at this long-later date; as so many educators/workers/police/homeowners, Barack Obama and many decades of entertainers and officials and corporate execs ,demonstrate, there are not really many actually denied much of anything due their race; African non-white Bashir in Janjaweed, as just one of many racial examples on earth, persecute and "cleanse" of their own kind exactly or far worse than long-ago slavers, so such racism is not a USA causation or extension of such things as UN Special Rapporteur Doudou Diene may soon allege against the USA anyway; wherefore, for those citizens alive today who CAN tangibly be shown they are eliminated or beaten or jailed or tossed aside simply due to race...WHATEVER race(s) may factually demonstrate profiling(s) against them in modern USA society forward into infinity...SHOULD be able to paid in nature of expediting  Courts Of Claims-type cases Federal Courts mandamus in finding for plaintiffs.

Only one Senate bill, current Senate bill 247 (Cash For Clunkers) should be tabled; it offers up to $4,500 for driveable old cars getting at least 18 mph, but requires no retro-fittings to improve mileage, and leaves one not able to afford a new car then either without wheels but with some walking around money, or it merely perhaps aids or covers downpayment on a necessary vehicle currently at non-deflated, hard-to-buy-in market rates; that they might get bare credit in such amounts helps the auto dealers, but if credit exceeds return to income, it's Bush Term Three. Wherefore, money to retrofit older cars should be available, to the lowest possible maximum.

Inaugural Speech Accurately Depicts Manifest USA Sentiments.

All our dreams, hopes, character, and diversity were shown to the world at today's Inaugural; President Obama therein further articulated the manifest emotions and candor of this nation, challenging those who curse us to do better for their own.

That said, I hope Republicans will once again be that one side of the same coin, the nation's People, that simply...as it were...cogently argues what the Federal government needs to serve the People in terms of central government, and soberly admit where States and Towns can make best or Constitutionally free-will decisions for their People...without "special" or "predestined" exception(s) of any kind. Obviously Democrats know how to go about the proper debate in the reverse side of said coin.

Congratulations to Barack Hussein Obama and Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. as the 44th President and thereto Vice President of the United States Of America. I for my part watched the Inaugural ceremony at a public place in Gurnee Illinois, and as with others in attendance have a great confidence in the new administration; we all look forward to helping bring back the American spirit, love of freedom, faith, humor, and global goodwill.

Another Interfaith Prayer For Obama's Inaugural.

As a Universal Life Church minister, Buckley Conservative, and sensing positivity in Obama, I would respectfully offer my own prayer for the Inaugural:

Let us forgive our outgoing President and those it involved (insofar as the personal spiritual self sense), and ask God for light to guide incoming Barack Obama and all our and the globe's leaders in truly bringing people together and enabling them to do good for God, each other, and themselves, with mercy to all and with absolutely no prejudices or exceptions whatsoever in the doing of peaceable good works and right things .

End Of The Era Of Faith Based Initiative-Inspired Reactive Atheism?

Ever see those recent figures, the ones that represent about 80% of Americans still have a spiritual belief vested in Christianity, yet almost 200 million of them go unchurched? Even vote for Obama, even though he uses ministers for inaugural activities?

Anyway, one thing for sure is that there HAS been a large presence of Calvinism detected in many Christian groups in America, the kind of doctrine that says we're all predestined by God to be winners or losers, winners can do what they want, losers are worthless even if sincerely good and of goodwill, and in fact all God wants is for such Christians to flaunt their chosen success and dominion over all else rather than say expect others to become part of the fold. To be sure, that kind of thinking could lead many to shun even the phrase "Merry Christmas"...more so where such Christians hold sway over public funds to boot.

Another major salient has been Churches or faith strands which cling not to their overall Christianity, just the fact that it ab initio was meant...in the time of Jesus Christ...to apply to everyone then locked into a world where feudalism, royalty, and often indentured servitude were ALL one had to work with, before making any other life choices or paths. In that sense, so much of the Bible is culture-bound; what worldly forces are exerted today, let alone ABSENCES of many economic or "daily bread" circumstances, plus scientific data sometimes verified by faith leaders, would sort of tend to indicate Christ's and even His Apostles' words would have to be accepted for the spiritual gravamen they contain, but in attempting to relate them to the present world and its intricacies evolved over 2,000 years one might look for CONTEXTUAL as well as literal cognates in trying to ascertain what might be the compassionate/peaceful/Christian right things to do. Ditto that to any other longtime faiths of earth, where even non-Christian leaders preach we're still on the plantation, as it were, and God or Allah or such will want us A) to stay there, and B) with those who tell us this lorded over us.

As it is, in the USA faith-funded, Presidentially-led Christianity has resulted in clergy deciding this or that immigrant(s) should just be given nationals' houses as Jesus told a rich Prince HE should do in feudal days, or even immigrants should expect to lose out if thereafter turns out God willed them into failure as well, you get the picture. Of course, wasn't it a Bush administration/GOP like Jim Ryan of Illinois position that Laden accused the USA of apostasy in a laundry list of "gripes", didn't Bush back when want to see where Laden led, and didn't Bush say therefore those USA citizens and immigrants who reject or question how faith-funded works are of interest as people possibly susceptible to Laden recruitment as they too...even if by wholly different parallel...happen to sound in questioning USA clergy re doctrinal applications?

When Bush recently said but did not enumerate that he would have done some things differently, one hopes he meant he would have smashed Qaeda and other such groups outright, and unlike Mushareff of Pakistan not appear to also be using Qaeda to destabilize political opponents...because as the Bush nation floundered, rights dried up, and officials came to know best God's will in determining how a return to feudalism would serve mankind...and going along with similar attitudes abroad would be one heck of a price to pay off terrorists from hitting us.

One holds forth hope that Obama would just close the Presidential Office Of Faith-Based Initiatives Bush Executive Order created, or in the alternative, that such office then will function to promote more widely-accepted realities and bring the leaders of world faiths into not fatwas and excommunications and oy-vays for discomfort with imposed avoidable serfdom, but into the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr., Ghandi, and John Paul II, and every person of peace and humanity...yet religious or not...on the face of the earth.
