Unclear As To How $700 Billion Would Help Everyday People.

Senator DeMint has some excellent objections re how the as-is bailout would work, especially in that it will send the rest of us off the national debt cliff. His opinion can verbatim be currently heard at http://www.jimdemint.com/blog/2008/09/debating-the-bailout-on-the-today-show/ .

It might be nice to explain why nobody in congress, not even McCain, Durbin, or Obama, has ever seen say $700 billion in piecemeal over the years for growing agricultural, alternative fuel, protective service, arts, and every other kind of jobs in the USA; but now that some company dropped off due to so many customers not having enough to pay, paying customers dropping off, or both, all at once there's a whole $700 billion chunk for the Big Boy...which seems to undercut potential for ANY change or other things promised by ANYBODY.

One hopes the only "CHANGE!!!!!" won't be from super-duper uber say-so powers over foreign terror suspects/agents to invidiously scowling at "anecdotal pockets of bitter multi-racial nobodies watered by the anti-Islam psychology of Western religions (except neo-evangelicals) which doesn't even respect Islam is a race, not religion for anybody".

As it is, we already have Daleys and such, all parties, who infer they stink and so does every other pol, but at least their high salaries, taxes, fines, fees, prices betoken how their fiefdoms are super-strong re personal economies and thus that's the mentality all Congress and the White House should have as prime protocol...leaving the anecdotal in the dust.

What If Terms "Racism", Racist Weren't What You Thought?

Some today make a big play relative to alleged "racism" in USA and Western hemisphere culture; we're left to merely assume this MUST mean that most USA nationals, Canadians, and Latin Americans despise each other, and need some sort of new Messiah (or at least Dr. Martin Luther King ) to bring US all together.
But really, what if what truly is meant is that we need to "change" to adopting a UN resolution, introduced by Pakistan in 1999 and the only and true subject of UN Special Rapporteur Doudou Diene, which would eliminate Islam as a religion, define Muslims as only those in or originating from the Middle East and thereto satellite lands, and demand that only such persons may at all be called or practice as Muslims; further, that these people...like the Jews under Old Roman Empire...are to be afforded the ability to bicker between their sects, mete out civil justice between each other, and ask the UN or European Union Parliament for power to keep killing "insolent" Muslims...like Jews under Pontious Pilate, only with the twist that all nations on earth would also police their own populations with swift silencing of anyone who even by imagination might provoke, say, Osama bin Laden, Mymood Alibabjihad, Janjaweed-funding Darfur president Bashir, and so forth?

Imagine being jailed for objecting to Janjaweed or Laden killing "uppity" Muslims, with you being called a "racist against the people of Islam", or being called a potential "race baiter"; imagine if some say the way they spend Federal money at State and local levels is to soothe or "reparate to" Islam, whether true or not, and anyone questioning any official about anything thus is "a racist and threat to national security".

Even Obama jumped from Islam into United Church Of Christ, as if to say even anyone with "African-" has no business trying to invade the Islamic "race", and it's probably just coincidence those "new age evangelicals" supporting him receive the lion's share of State faith funds. Then too, what about all the Muslims, say, in Darfur, India, and so forth? Maybe some think Bashir is just disciplining "bad" Muslims by "sending them to Allah", but even there, how come HE doesn't have to be an Arab or Caucasian in the first place?

Racism is always a bad idea, period. However, answers by surrogates and the imaginations of individual listeners have become such commonplace campaign tools in today's sounbyte-stagecraft world of politics, it might be a good idea to inquire of every candidate what their take on racism is, why they don't think the UN's current push to turn Islam into a race only the UN can further annoint ministers or practitioners of, or both.

In the USA, we might start with those who tell us Christ or Moses aren't what they're cracked up to be, and out to be tossed out in favor of more "humanistic" religious views for world peace.

THIS Time $700M Would Do More Than Appease UN, European Union, And Islamic Hardliners?

I don't intend to post any more about the within topic, but again note the UN anti-blasphemy of Islam proposal throughout this year, which proposal has been not adopted by the White House (yet) and effects of which are addressed by the Becket Fund of religious freedom (same having UN Consultative status) at http://www.becketfund.org/files/a9e5b.pdf .
With USA mainstream media harking back to 9/11, quotes from the past (selectively, as if this or that guy or gal gets even ONE lil' ol' minutae...at THIS point..."right", well, who won't storm to vote for 'em?), and most local and national media projecting in nature "Sure, mortgage, Shearson, AIG fiascos hurt the economy big time, hate Bush/GOP, vote Obama, fixed...oh, and WE'D report on human interest if really anyone in OUR town or State were personally struggling financially"(repeat throughout USA), it seems fair to point out amazing parallels between the European Union Parliament, UN, and way most Democrats and even some GOP approach giveaways of resources et al as "pinwheels for peace, security, and personal financial solidity".

Imagine leaving it to local Mayors up through UN Commissioners, worldwide, as to what does or merely might somehow somewhere affront Islam...in fairness, not even everyday Muslims would get a say.

What if it became that Darfur's Bashir and his funding of Janjaweed were deemed to be no more than one Muslim "delivering Allah's justice" to "naughty Muslims"; any Christian, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, what have you, anywhere on earth could see their own government whisk them away as objecting to such practice "defames" a fundamentalist Islamic sensibility.

Atheist or "unchurched"? What if it is an internment-camp roundup for you if even appearing to not believe in or worship God is deemed the ultimate insult to Allah and thus Islam, by any official's hunch or crackpot New Age "evangelical" or insane party...worse, upon same's unique, HR 1955/287g type "intuition"?

Worst of all, imagine warrantless, non-habeas pickups under silent arrest actions...the point of all DHS and say-so laws IS to "avoid Islamic terror" and "offended senses", right? Anyone, non-Muslim clergy or otherwise, taking umbrage with such practice or questioning any arrest or detainment of others, could themselves be arrested, or at least invidiously called "scurvy, racist, nationalistic homophobe emboldeners of bitter nobodies who scare bin Laden". Quiet arrests contemplate "quiet" detentions and dispositions, as well...perhaps one day including nicely done-up camps with neat flowerboxes, where arrivals are told it's not so bad, but could they please take a shower first. For some reason, letters like KGB, NKVD, SS seem to swirl.

I think most people on earth, no matter humanist stoics or whatever leading faith, would simply settle for the age-old concept of doing the right thing, as God intends us, in every grand and humdrum course of human events...like, say, America did when Kennedy or Eisenhower were President.

But there HAS been a huge effort by some this year especially, including monetarily,  that the UN and Durbin et al should never have spent the 1990's concerned about Hussein's atrocities, nor should even guard against WTC type trouble...like that's just how we must let a small slice of Islam "blow off steam" and not feel "picked on"; ditto your Bashirs, Irans, Hamas, Laden, Taliban...who also are "free" to "punish" or "vent" against even other Muslims. Most importantly, there has been a huge media and communications effort to squelch and generally condemn Judeo-Christian beliefs and rites, in the USA and Europe.

We have candidates galore who tell us we must regain the faith of the Muslim world and regain international respect, whatever that means. The UN anti-blasphemy proposal, as it stands, sounds like little more than a way to globally "legitimize" Secret Police make-it-fit practices, while leaving terrorists and despots abroad just as cozy as they are today, and without a shred to do with any economy, farming, education, arts, medicine, religion, or anything else that makes up a truly progressive, or ANY, society.

Before February 2009, when it becomes an offense to use shortwave or any nature of over-the-air device, and before internet neutrality is severely cropped, maybe we should ask all candidates what their stance on the UN anti-blasphemy proposal is; and if not endorsing it for Federal adoption, would they let States' Rights or homerule for towns go along with it under HR 1955-type mentality?

If we're to take "international respect" and "protection of Islam" as assent, directly or by such tacit unexplained platitudes, then it would seem having same as one's prime protocol waters down credibility in anything one promises in a campaign, in ways not much good to anyone on earth regardless of nationality, persuasions, faiths. Again, maybe we should ask of candidates before communications get crimped February 2009.

Religions, AIG, And Cloning The European Union Parliament.

Some seem to be indicating the Shearson-AIG farrago is like a jolt to an economy which, up to this week, had been humming for the manifest diverse USA society.

Apparently, sure...Senator Kerry in 2004 WAS then right about "outsourcing" and Enron and WorldComm and such hurting things for nationals and immigrants alike; sure, Kerry lost by a razor popular margin; yes, Katrina and Rita came along in 2005; sure, into 2008 there have been job losses, employer closures without relocations, mortgage fiascos.

But some allege in the nature that absolutely all those things had manifestly been cured, in bipartisan excellence at every level of government, by the start of 2008; until Shearson-AIG, there were only microscopically small anecdotal pockets of loser nationals and immigrants, with assorted otherwise unpopular Christian clergy...in true Laden-like fashion...tending to such bitter foul-ups; you can see how HR 1955/287g type stuff, and regulation of religion, certainly are not some European Union Parliament-type scheme, just needed to keep a tiny amount of churls from impacting an otherwise boundless economy.

Thankfully, AIG's inability to pay costs was cured by an $85 billion loan which obviously will now have income to get repaid, as even Shearson "losers" will pull themselves up by their bootstraps; so otherwise, it seems, keep on with all prior agendas...let's not embolden any anecdotal prior pockets of unpopular Christians (http://www.becketfund.org/files/a9e5b.pdf) and their parasitic, rabble-rousing Laden-like clergy. Or at least some thusly let it lie.

For me, who I'll vote for will be aided by seeing which, if any, candidates suggests only Shearson-AIG affected the USA economy and produced concern for only those still in the game as of this week. That is, do some mean "Great Depression" in way general economy sits, or as in isolated over-selling of corporate paper LIKE prior to the Great Depression but now hardly of actual magnitude, and with extremely limited effects on otherwise well-performing personal economies.

DEMOCRATS Don't Rally Around New, Openly Gay Portland Mayor?

I was sitting around the other day, musing how still there are literally no buttons or bumper stickers seen throughout Lake County Illinois for ANY candidate(s), and how Team Obama emailed to say a Chicago office will finally open next week (maybe if they pay crews, that's one way to blanket with signs or stickers), when I received an email informing me that way back this May, a gay man won as Portland Oregon's new Mayor.

Trying then to see what "Googling" might turn up about him, very little to my powers of internet...name Sam Adams, born 1963, currently a Portland Commissioner, won with 58% of vote in field of twelve, no runoff needed, starts term January 01, 2009; openly gay, Caucasian. Maybe it's just me, but that's the first I heard, and all I could dig up on free searching.

Remember when Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, a Hispanic, won? John Kerry proudly and loudly backed him, the Democrats bragged on their campaign sign "Los Angeles, California, Unites States of Mexico"; last December Villaraigosa per an Associated Press piece intended, ala European Union Parliament, to bring even Muslim jihadists to his town, have police identify who needs most appeasement or they'll go more jihad, and to do so with HR 1955/287g powers against USA nationals and immigrants already here...sort of like a clone of how the European Union Parliament's Socialist Group identifies their own version of same only their anti-national power a very broadly defined "Article 13" of the their constitution. Currently, European Union has no known enemy(ies) it is militarily engaging including terrorists (despite growing a whole 66,000 European force outside NATO), and by resistance to ICC warrant issuance for Darfur's Bashir (funder of terror group Janjaweed, biggest cause of death in Darfur) apparently no world policing objectives.

Well, where's all the Democrat hoopla over Sam Adams getting elected in Portland? After all, Illinois (100% Democrat controlled re legislature and executive branch, plus Assistant U.S. Senate Majority Leader Durbin and Obama) is trying to pass a law which creates civil unions but essentially would ban religions from teaching against homosexuality even though clergy need not officiate if they choose not to ( q.v., http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/fulltext.asp?DocName=&SessionId=51&GA=95&DocTypeId=HB&DocNum=1826&GAID=9&LegID=30661&SpecSess=&Session), and Obama loudly interprets Christ's Sermon On The Mount (aka Beatitudes Of Jesus) to include homosexuals amongst those non-officials should be nice to (no problems there, by the way, subject to social conduct like everybody else)...yet even here in the alleged Land-O-Bama, nobody would even know the "racist nationalist reactionaries and bitter religious" of Portland Oregon easily elected a gay man to major office.

Maybe Sam Adams, and I don't know, doesn't fit with other Democrat tack-ons: let's have jihadists come here even if they WTC until the cows come home, let's have so little intent of world police action or attacker-enemies ever again that we keep on with BRAC and recruitment closures, let's have no particular enemies, and leave our nationals and other immigrants with no particular rights on never-cancelled AUMFs even if purposes concluded or abandoned...maybe Sam's not European enough for Democrats to brag about.

Congress: Biggest Elephant In The Room.

All this year through the Summer adjournment, all we heard was somewhere between 11%-22% of USA residents approved of Congressional proposals and acta cumulatively made since the 2006 elections, especially those from Fall 2007 into this Spring; since this Summer, all we hear is the public's opinion on the dreams of McCain and Obama...literally as if no other Federal offices were up for election, or as if a President is a monarch to whom Congress are mere epigoni, unless of course the President is always right he acts with Congress' applause for doing their will...oh, this Constitutional duty dancing stuff is so tricky.

Actually, a number of Senate seats are up, and so is the entire House as it is every two years since 1789, and no President truly ever could do anything without their bicameral assent.

Enough Democrats and GOP having always tacked themselves onto every proposal or passed agenda, maybe, just maybe, a good debate question for McCain and Obama would be: "Do you think staying the course of the current and last decade's Congresses would help or hinder you in bringing your promises into reality?".

Might even be a good poll question. After all, looking at the merely LATEST market fiasco through which another industry is nationalized on ruse of "sudden shock crisis", either Congress has no interest in what we all think to be jobs and commerce, or the agenda proposed was upon Congressional assent to intent economic downturns occur occasionally to "leave people now no choice" other than to Socialize or nationalize everything and everyone as the cure...that is, letting us sleep while with all awarenesses of what will happen later on, Federal/local governments and orthodox businesses paid for their snafus with what's not there today, causing appearance of "instant crisis", ala stimulus money borrowed from future refunds here today and gone ever-after...as the money supply in public hands for saving and credit-paying stays flat; sort of backdoor Socialism and martial powers as all is and are nationalized with no particular reason except tour de force.

As it is, even things like "no more debit cards to post office boxes!" or "no certain religious television!", yadda yadda, on grounds of "national security", are confusing; do such bans actually enhance security or just drive profits to higher-priced providers; you can still anonymously buy debit cards at any store or gas station or currency exchange, except for an extra purchase fee; and where one Christian television network provided free to cable systems and which pay cable no air fees is yanked, a lot of others stay on because they pay...see where my confusion is?

Really, is the goal truly Socialism, or just a land where everyone is permanently a nationalized asset with no particular rights fighting no particular enemy? BRAC and recruiting office closures confuse the kaleidoscopic "wars on___" even more.

Will Wrong Or No Church One Day Be "Some Evidence" To Detain Or Confiscate?

I see via a Congress.org link that we're to get up in arms rallying behind a Congressional call to get uber-tough with child stalkers; I know schools literally make kids do at least one "practice" complaint against at least one adult to pass, plus act like every person out there will molest them in an instant, so stay off streets and out of parks, so I suppose at least kids should get another boost from the very officials who put frights into them over even parents and teachers. Other than that, like everything else it's yet another re-re-re-re-statement of statutes we've had for decades, all still in force; in regard to weighing if Congress isn't "coming around in concern for little guys" with another re-statement of law, add it to the pile of emotionalism and illusion we wouldn't have what we have without bureaucratic excellence ( any irony therein?).

Anyway, I saw an ad for a new film featuring Bill Maher, coming out in October, which appears to be about even more mockery of Christian faiths.

Time to make sense not so much out of piecemeal Obama religion flip-flops, cable operators yanking EWTN (provided to them free) after the Pope's USA visit (but leaving on Protestants who pay to air) as Pelosi and Giuliani agreed the people want loosened Catholicism, Maher calling the Pope a Nazi, "Jerry Springer: The Musical", "Sexy Jesus", Maher's new film, insistence on gay marriage not just unions (even if pols think it's a taught or learned thing to be gay, and even if that chafes gay people), ad infinitum; rather, to make sense of the final points of which such aggregate stuff may be intended as an inculcated if synthetic set of "proofs" in support.

We all know we're going to have another one of those elections that is going to result, voting issue(s) carping or not, in a President who cries for our compassion to the world, as if we're all Simon Legree if we don't do more, and who will ask us to hug each other and come together...like 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006 before him. Who wins doesn't seem as important as does the idiom in which they will assume office.

It would seem that a likely very lackluster Christmas shopping season is going to be blamed not on an eternally small money supply in re scope of distributions to the USA public, but upon a "rejection" of Western Christianity by Western nationals and intra-hemispheric immigrants. After all, the economic stimulus payments this Summer, themselves only borrowed from future tax refunds otherwise due recipients, totally fixed the USA economy and returned it to 1960's or better performance...even Lou Dobbs said the other night the latest market woes, sending Shearson-Lehman byebye, has not perturbed remaindermen in the least. The ONLY thing that could "logically" slump Christmas sales then would be a rejection of this Christ by nationals and others already here who don't want to identify with "anecdotal pockets" of either Roman Catholics who "see Christ as a non-Socialist" or Jews and Protestants who see Christ as "a bastion against liberals and sharing with anyone".

Thus, when the new President and Congress start the influx of say Eastern Orthodox Christians and European Muslims who at least agree Socialism is the message of Christ, our officials at every level will be "justified" in using direct clones of European Union Parliament Article 13-type powers in re-arranging "the remaining Churched" to better share our nation's opulent wealth in ways "respectful of God's true will".
Perhaps one day, just being Baptised, or born or Jew or Muslim or atheist or whatever, will become 'some evidence' of threatening the security and uniformity of society, as officials deem it on HR 1955-type national or local as-needed basis.

In sum, all the relevant hi jinks are merely to support one day that USA Judeo-Christians are all a bunch of nationalistic and racist hoarders of dripping gold and boundless freedom/opportunities...they have plenty, and by God, the next President WILL make this a kinder, gentler, more compassionate nation than it's ever dared be before; oh, and THIS time, doing things the same way with different nature immigrants and expecting different results might really not be an insanity.

Hey...I thought religion was supposed to be nothing but psychology; maybe politicians and media celebrities are the real ones who need such licensing before preaching, personally or off teleprompters.

Nondenominational God Facts Disprove Faith Is Psychological.

Without even considering the necessity or correctness of any religion on earth, past or present, certain things stand out about God.

First, not to belabor a point, but the first of all planets before all Big Bangs cannot have created its own matter out of nothingness; there is no known way for matter to self-generate, and then an eternal dark void itself would pose problems under all known earthly scientific disciplines. Obviously, the first of firsts had to be created, and obviously by an Absolute not limited by what we know to be humanly produceable scientific, interdisciplinary, and philosophical means of quantifying, rationalizing, and explaining...no laws of physics, time, space, mentally calculating, and so forth would limit such a Creator.

Second, the nature we come made with, day one at birth, is to seek the good, to seek kinship, to seek fellowship or friendship, to seek doing the right things, to seek knowledge to such ends. At birth, obviously the Creator's intention for humanity is NOT to have it set itself against itself in any way, shape, or form. Further, many scientific studies have verified, blind and double-blind tests, that we humans have the gift of prayer to help one another with actual results; the only requisites seems to be sincerity and GOOD purpose(s) benefitting the object(s) of prayer over self...this or that peaceful religious participation seems to empower such prayer even more; it appears prayer does NOT come with the propensity to kill or harm anyone ( I myself, given the attacks I've endured for upholding law, or free-speaking politically, would not be here if all thugs had to do was pray me to death, and believe me...there ARE some who must have tried)...suggesting the Absolute intends humans use their gifts, talents, and energy in assorted levels of cultural, gender, and global diversity and without imposition of one will over another for the sake of it; as to prayer and efficacy, it seems only human interference or God's plan/expiration date impede prayerful effects.

Last,  some are of status such that they can inculcate or enforce appearances of literally any "reality" most suitable to them and their chosen heirs and assigns; others say they are "little" people so what else can they do besides this or that self-serving objectivist thing(s) "everybody else is doing", things of such nature. Well, let's say somebody reasons that say Rene Descartes (humanist philosopher)or Jean-Paul Sartre ( oops, sorry! Sartre, French Socialist existentialist and atheist, actually spent the last months of his life extollling existance of God) and so on are right: there is no demonstrable God, so if you meet one, you get a human legal and PSYOPS team together and use human terms to "rationalize" why, to not be embarrassed as an "imperfect lover of Man" under earthly reasoning, the Creator MUST let you into Heaven; or you're someone who says theirs was a way of rolling with punches, or of poverty, so surely God won't hold objectivism or theft or whatever against little fry who had no choice. The problem with all this is that again, the Absolute is not at all bound by ANYTHING you or the sharpest human tacks can design...if you say "I buried knowledge of you, farmed society, you have to let me in", or "I had no idea...", or "poverty absolves sin", et al, what if the Creator, when it's our time, tells us: "What did I give you at birth, how did you not realize it's proper to do right things according to your gifts and talents, even as atheists or agnostics...ptooey to you!"?

For these reasons, I cannot estimate how any peaceful religion on the face of the earth, which contains itself to the essentials our Creator gives us, can be practicing psychology, licensed or not; it would seem it's just explanation of how this or that group worships and follows the salient order of God...Who doesn't "get lost!" because every last tongue in His witness is stilled, every writing burned, or we just don't talk about that stuff any more.

Maybe Campaigns Should Include Public, Not Just Stagecraft For Them.

Most campaign and PAC stuff I'm seeing keep telling me how race and gender are the primary focus of USA nationals, so all we need worry of is what people in the non-Western Hemisphere will think if a woman or a non-white doesn't obtain to White House entry; other than that, everything's fine, just fine...so let's go tell everybody not in our Hemisphere that they're going to have mucho money and trade upon Obama's election, except for a bunch of racists/self-haters/nationalist homophobes who'll need down-putting as other Hemisphere's populations next mass-immigrate to the USA...unless McCain, the guy who's gonna screw up all deals known to foreigners, at least, gets in and makes the world then "withhold cash and trade from us some more and invites their wrath for so doing". Eh, either way though, might as well ignore how education and stuff came to be so screwed up UNDER all people up for election or next election, and as always make closely-cropped, critic-crushed stagecrafts puffing up the rhetoric everybody wants to hear.

Maybe if all candidates had to go USA townhall ad-lib, unscreened (except for security) queries from USA nationals and world immigrants/tourists already here, more substance useful to all people could be heard, and at the same time together.

As it is, I find it hard to endorse ANY candidates for ANYTHING, not out of spite nor things of that nature, but because it seems every last candidate for any office relevant to me lets it ride that the "USA still 1960's industrial-military complex" myth is right, and also myth that the European Union Parliament is now an equal dynamo that will create jobs here if we let "some" of their "needfuls" in first; thus all I see is a choice...and a faux choice, at that...between the stagecraft of Obama as Savior with candy for all, and McCain who plays and IS played as if there WOULD be candy he could "crucify like a Pilate".

I look forward to any, if any, Fall debates for any specific, blunt namings of WHAT candidates things is wrong, and bluntly HOW they'll fix it (certainly, it seems nowadays we choose between campaigns needing no genesis of ideation from the vox populi anymore, just appearance of their vote thereon re what's chosen for them). In the meantime, if anybody thinks I've been askew with my impressions re the European Union Parliament, especially its Article 13 which sweeps members' nationals aside as politically expedient, and that my being "askew" extends to Bible teachings/texts in the EU, well...then let's hear my critics' recitals of what they believe relevant Article 13 text to be, and how THEY think EUP and member nations apply pressures under it; otherwise, I'll keep thinking all anybody in elected office or candidacy thereof is offering is a choice only between who WILL lead the USA into an exact legal clone of the European Union Parliament no matter what "convincers" it takes, while keying ANY questions or better USA Constitutional ideas thereon "terror-support sounding" or "slammable with made-up offenses later dismissed" or otherwise "convincing" everybody it's all very good for us.

Oh, and just by bringing in more boatloads of whoever en masse, without money supply increase or up-front foreign investment as usual, where will all the money be soon for all the feel-good things like medicine, jobs, healthcare, housing, education, et al, we're told are coming unless "mean Mr. McCain" interferes?

Don't Blame European Muslims Or China For Bible Glitches.

Whenever I hear someone say something like "Obama actually thinks a Muslim evening call to prayer is the best sound in the world", or "Bible under attack by Islam!", "China making different Bible texts, oppressing Christianity!" or the like, I ask God to forgive the writers, speakers, and any affronted observers of such comments...media and political intermeddlers DO thrive off controversies, and don't always let truth be a barrier to ANYTHING...while main political contests devolve to little more than two monkeys throwing you-know-what at each other and implying the most coated must lose.

The fact is, all politicians know that Muslims are the Hispanics of Europe, and that while Islam is Abrahamic like Judaism and Christianity, not that much time is spent by Muslims studying the New Testament...which is not to imply Muslims on the main do so because they "hate" it or its followers. Obama is just more forward in playing to an impression of the Bible and its ways of interpretation as, say, the European Union Parliament and its member nation governments ALLOW it to be printed and disseminated.

That China merely prints the books and related texts, or has in the recent past, is of no moment, as it would seem ANYONE printing them would have to adhere to the European rigors.

Now, if Muslims abroad or anyone anywhere thusly arrive at this impression in nature of somehow Jesus Christ was this seer guy-dude who was Che Guevara, Karl Marx, Caesar Chavez, and Martin Luther King all rolled into one, leading organized labor and political committees on behalf of everyone and everyone was healed by His totalist Socialist/communist mere human efforts, while such a view or similar is certainly untraditional and otherwise unknown for 2,000 or so years, that is NOT the fault of China, and NOT the fault of any Muslims or anyone else reading such "REALLY New Testament".

One hopes more will come of public interest than the aforesaid monkey-vs-monkey scenario. An essential part of that would seem to be to acknowledge that what we have going in the USA hasn't worked for most nationals, nor most non-Muslim immigrants over the last even CLINTON years forward, nor will it work...unchanged...for Europe's Muslims or anyone else not of this Hemisphere and not yet experienced in current USA culture; one hopes more will come forth in the true spirit of peaceful Abrahamic and other faiths as would regard conscience and service to God and others, than just "figgerin'" Muslims from European Union backlogs will just be the "next" to flow through the same things so many of the rest of us have without much result except to lose more communication and civil liberty capabilities...no, most Muslims and most of earth's diverse peoples are NOT terrorists or killers, and "figgerin'" that you might not deliver what you otherwise imply, so you need iron hamfists to "make it look good for security without military and stuff, see?", is so cheesy words fail.

And it's ludicrous to imply USA nationals must "hate" or "fear" Muslims Europe might start sending us (what would Danny Thomas, famous Lebanese USA celebrity, e.g., say?), just so we "avoid suspicion of being Qaeda-cruited if'n those hotbloods don't like what they wind up with".

Let's not "defeat" bad foreign economic and civil rights leaders through playing along and shell-gaming; and I hope everyone on earth gets a chance to read Christian Scriptures as they were truly recorded in Christ's time, or in manifestly exactly those words in one's own language, so they can see Christ neither advocates terrorism, revolution, crime, or any particular relief from legal responsibility or preparation for any kingdom other than God's as one enters at physical death...entry keyed to by how one lived on earth, regardless of status or other demographics.

Sidebar re charity issues: I said last month the city of Waukegan, Illinois joined with many others this year to make even Church and Fire Dept. "Fill The Boot" campaigns for charity against the law as panhandling; it appears that Waukegan has issued a permit for its firemen to collect for the Jerry Lewis MDA effort THIS weekend. I saw them out and donated myself this morning. To those readers who pass by the intersection of Grand and Green Bay this weekend, please be as generous to those firefighters as is within your means...they embody the kind of government/private party efforts to help those truly in need, and may God watch over and protect those people as they work for social charity.

Re Cohen On Obama: Organizer Like Jesus Or Just Like Castro Or Stalin?

Tom Cole included me in an email today, which informs of the here following link to Rep. Cohen actually saying Barack Obama is the next best thing to Jesus Christ incarnate (and one supposes, all HR 1955/small money supplies work best Democrats and GOP his apostles): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmnbTBCktoM&eurl=http://nrcc.org/nrcctv/ .

I am not God, nor Christ, nor any sort of Divinity whatsoever; nor do I feel "outrage" that such folks speak as they do...I agree with Plato's "Phaedo" that the greatest evil one can suffer is hatred of meaningful discourse.

In this case, Rep. Cohen and those who don't contest his relevant words...thanks to venue for discourse...have proven me correct in my earlier assertions that such people see themselves as Divinity incarnate, and thus can do no wrong in re-writing Bibles, ab initio Scriptures, Qurans, Torahs, what have you...I've always said even the declared atheists and hodgepodge "New Evangelicals" endorsing them are the priests of the New Divinity, urging us to turn from all other faiths and even atheism, and quietly endure whatever these domestic leader-Lords and their foreign leader-Angels come up with, even if to our puny intellects they seem like self-serving totalists.

And again, I can only feel pity for them, and I shall pray for God to overlook their errors and moral weaknesses insofar as eternity and God's presence one day will apply as it does to us all; further insofar as that, I myself forgive them for their weakness and use of public money and time to challenge the Divinity of whoever created the first of all Big Bang planets (world without end).

As to the secular political sense, THAT's all these folks have come up with...vote for me because we're Divine? Um, create a planet from a vacuum, raise my mother-in-law from the death she had two weeks ago, something of that nature. Otherwise, instead of using the name "Jesus" as a mere token of a better-than-mortals organizer of people, I'll assume Cohen wished to say Barack isn't even intended to be a "Caesar Chavez" type of person who actually CARES what happens after elections are over and the same-old, same-old goes on, only next with folks from the other Hemisphere.

Oh wait...Obama, Durbin, et al are ready for that...HR 1955, FISA, PATRIOT, cut all shortwave radios February 2009 together with broadcast devices, crush religious messages calling for "good works", insist abortion and euthanasia help things work...hey yeah, without remarks re other candidates, I surely do see what at least Democrats are "divining" as their ultimate goal!

Obama Overseas:WorldBeat Prophet, Or Desperate Hope Of Greener Grass?

Oh, the teary-eyed apologies you want to make when you read at http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/09/09/2360240.htm?section=world , and hear folks from 22 countries believe if Obama won, even though he can do NOTHING without Congress and States Rights escapades are never mentioned no matter WHO's President, not only the USA but their own nations would spring forward into instant $$$$$$ and such.

Oh, how could anyone question Obama NOW, oh I've been so naughty, oh, boo-hoo-hoo....hey, wait a minute! Strike that, Get Steven Tyler and "Dream On" cranked up!!!

Note those 22 countries are NOT in the Canadian/Latin American/USA part of the Western Hemisphere...in fact, the only one the link mentions that remotely even comes close is Australia!

Imagine living in your own languishing economy, apart from mainland Western Hemisphere, and seeing no exports to the Etats Unis, Vereinigten Staaten, whatever...then, throw in chowder-headed UN types like Doudou Diene, concurrently if silently obstructing issuance and enforcement of the UN's own ICC warrant for Darfur's Bashir, all mewling and puking that the USA is this 1960's industrial-military complex, not prepared to treat global immigrants well by withholding imports and inbound migration on mass scales; I tell, says the UN, these non-Obamans are the cause of why non-Western Hemispheric totalists and elitists HAVE to act like they do, makin' ya sit around as if buses and planes will mass you into the USA on January 20, 2009 if'n we kin just get ridda them thar varmint non-Obamans! Then, milk and easy money and honey will be yours forever more, and magically thusly you kinfolk back at home will just be dripping in prosperity!

The cruel, bitter irony of being so strapped where you are, you just WANT to believe that the grass is greener someplace else, and certainly who wouldn't run from jerk leaders and stagnant economic waters if given a chance?

The reality is that it is a slap to Latin Americans to say they are NOT immigrants within any such "poll" or UN protocols, and a slap to folks in 22 non-Western Hemisphere countries to have their leaders fob off their own incompetent leadership on the USA, and further rejoice that an Obama win would realistically result in little more than keeping bad leaders as is abroad, only willing to do the "final dirt" for like-minded totalists and euthanists "who are doing it in other countries...it's what OTHER countries are doing".

So folks not in the Western Hemisphere, don't forget all that housing fiasco and job and other such trouble over here, don't forget the UN is full of folks we KNOW you'd like to just run away from, but hey...Plato said (in "Phaedo"): "There is no greater evil one can suffer than to hate reasonable discourse"...if you just run away, your folks won't have to enter meaningful talks for their own import/export affairs, and well, all Obamans would likely do is what's BEEN happening non obstante Bush, GOP: keep our own money supply slim, no cash for foreign aid, bring in immigrants and even more FISA/PATRIOT/HR 1955 super-power on everyone, and, um, you know...make things fit as you and we back up...have you considered mass abortion as real healthcare, teaching your third graders how to experiment with gay sex so they might not reproduce, gambling all-or-nothing as a career, stuff like that?

McCain may not be perfect, but he's not THAT! People of the USA and Western Hemisphere may yearn to connect positively with everyone else on earth, and so vice versa, yet how many know HOW Obama and all these leaders still sitting on things elsewhere will DELIVER the reliefs they promise? Has over a half-century of love for Cubans alone lifted the Castro system; has sympatico of any kind ever improved how Mexico's government treats its people, stuff like that...and given the global slumps of today, mere mass migration ANYWHERE seems to just shift where one stands still.

Social Justice No Longer A Topic For Peaceful Religious?

If it were "unto Original Sin" to doubt the nearness, existence, or interest of God, things like Psalms 22 and 88 could hardly be a part of the Christian faith deposit for thousands of years.

I recently in life actually questioned if God exists, or if Christ is His Son, and upon much prayerful contemplation of every religious writing in my Roman Catholic and other Christian's faith deposits...together with eyes on secular science, metaphysics, and the like...I was able to conclude for myself that: Big Bangs would all trace back to some ancient first of first planets, and matter cannot generate itself, so that first of first things must have been created, with this and all other Big Bang results being that first "world without end"; that considering the massive, inter-faith, and inter-demographic animosity toward Jesus in His earthly lifetime, culminating in mass glee over His sadistic and grizzly execution, you'd think at least ONE tome would exist de-bunking any of His miracles reported in the New Testament, but instead, it's all just acknowledgement it ALL (including Ascension) happened with all then just creeped out by it, as if being rid of Him would make His words go away; and that Jesus essentially wants all mankind, by whatever labels it lives, to go about their affairs as usual, mindful that only the rather simple Ten Commandments and whatever He taught need be in the HEARTS of people as they do everything...this means that's all ANYONE need do, and sins will be forgiven in Heaven if one converts back the heart, either has a remaining lifetime available to live by it or otherwise at least sincerely urge others not to repeat their mistakes, and realizes that whereas the soul can be forgiven there are still the secular systems of justice God intends have their effects in the human sphere.

Essentially, God and Jesus simply want all people to do the just and right things to the natural limits of their ability to do so, even if they are poor or rich, and without regard to social or ritual practices as long as they bend to Jesus ; even sickness and affliction seem to be no longer tests of faith, rather being signs to show how if the afflicted can hold to God's and Jesus' intents, what encouragement to hale and hearty people to not falter or bend no matter the weight. There appears no "infinite personal scorecard and jeweler's Lupe constant scrutiny" named by Jesus, just expression to do right things and within human law as such legal systems proceed, yet without intendment law and faith should be far apart...church and state, yes, but nothing re separating law and faith.

My own Roman Catholic faith, especially in the USA, certainly is adopting that motif; currently, they allow both the nature of "Vatican I and II" practices by laity, but teach and encourage embrace of gays, other cultures, anything going as long as it cleaves to Jesus, arm-in-arm prayer in Church formerly called "channelling", all the true universality of Christ...but like many of its "separated" Protestant brothers, it has a twist: also, we must accept that public officials in the USA are correct that Apostolic succession from St. Peter into Bishops and Ordinaries is false, ergo any lay congregation at all should vote for these positions; further, that they believe USA officials actually have more pull with God than anyone could, probably DO have an office-holding Apostolic succession of themselves they alone can best anoint, and all such officials are doing God's Will as Jesus would want through what we laity and "unconverted" or "unchurched" or "heretics" see as personal and political expediency via collectivizations to favor on any given day, and the like. Eventually, the "Vatican I and II's" will fade away, leaving only the New Catholicism...wherein some find "it's so hard to know if laity are worried about the Kingdom of God or just themselves, selfish notwithstanding representative form of government", faith leaders should not even tacitly opine re social issues or social justice even if peaceful and logical.

This has led me to my own conversion to my Universal Life Church ministry. I wish to spread God's and Jesus' words of hope and salvation to as many people as possible, only without being a "Bible Thumper" or tacking on all that illustrious psychology and stagecraft that's on the ebb anyway...only minus the twist of New Christianity insofar as the stuff about public officials. I believe that the words of Jesus apply to ALL people regardless of anything else they go about doing their own ways, and that's what I will offer in my ministry: "Do only that which is right by God and duly settled law". To such end, I will preach only as one finds in the 1989 New American Bible as a prayerful person aware that the "Eucharist" is now taught as symbolic and that the Bible is not to be a fundamentalist "so there!" statutory listing except for the actual intentions of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said all who are baptized into Him share that burden, and I will do my best to preach as Christ intended, without rancor to other peaceful faiths be they New Age, New Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, or otherwise.

Unite People Globally That Faith Stops Hope And It's Best Served By Populism?

It seems these days that some candidates market their own theology, touching all faiths, with whatever gnostic crimping of...or outright invention of...Scripture, Sura, what have you.

Apparently forgetting even Islam is an Abrahamic religion just like Judaism and Christianity, here's what one major candidate opines about Judeo-Christianity, apparently finding its beliefs to be the cause of every disruption in the history of mankind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn-P3yAaAqI .

Like MyMood Alibabjihad in Iran, Osama bin Laden, Hamas, Janjaweed, and so forth, or Cotton Mather in Christianity,  or say Antiochus in Judaism, some modern officials just jump around lil' 'ol things like Bibles and Qurans and such, taking whatever out of context, forgetting other meanings revealed as the word of God define the whole; if need be, some will also just take advantage of Bible or other texts' naivte in the population and just ad lib actual lines.

In the peculiar case of Senator Obama, it seems on one hand he despises ANY faith in God, citing no mere God can trump in conscience even retroactive abortions and euthanasias, or say homosexuality can't celebrate marriage on grounds gays are made that way even if kids DO have to be made to experiment with it or else they might not wind up with the preference, or say that folks bested by doctrine of da locum melioribus and vae victus are just chump loser vessels of wrath due no good works or charity; on the other hand, he loves God if New Age "evangelicals" backing him on his theology on everything from abortion to global warming as reason to have bills but no jobs or commerce.

But, oh world of readers at large, all this is a trap being baited: anyone of even nominal intelligence anywhere on earth knows such political theology is whacky, that's WHY it's spewed...most people of earth will at least go "sigh!" at it, there's this big wave-in ala European Union Parliament Article 13 of actual jihadists over even normal Muslims (note, EUP opposes ICC warrant for the president of Darfur found by U.N.'s ICC to be funding killer group Janjaweed, responsible for most Darfur death), such and other immigrants are ala Article 13 nationalized as are nationals under martial acts, housing and stuff are sluggish here...man, just one thing gets baited, and ping! See? It IS a good thing that last year, the House passed HR 1955 to include USA nationals as ALL terror killer suspects at-large...and good thing even GOP like Dana Rorhabacher et al endorsed it...and even if Laden himself pulls something, well, you're all mostly Jews or Christians, so on much, much lowered "some evidence" standards, obviously ve musst pick you up first, ja, as you are all Abrahamic like Laden und  he might be helping YOU!

If I did give advice, on goofy religion "points" of any candidates, I would urge putting fingers in our ears and going peaceably about our faiths as most of us have done for millenia. Be proud of how we all honor God according to His will of mercy and love, don't let a tiny percentage of bad apples anywhere be grounds for wiping out all, and live in a peaceable, productive, and socially charitable way that can make America and the whole world great together...most of all, look into the real words and doctrines of your faith, always keep a cool head, and ALWAYS do the right thing within the law of any nation you find yourself in.
And definitely check the facts of any faith(s), if you're told people of and having faith in prayer, religion, or God interfere with hope, and ought to be replaced by Socialism, totalism, objectivism, majorityism, or any other other humanistic "make things fit" solution(s).

Another Evangelical Election Year Perspective.

Being "evangelical" myself, in that all my life I've studied or followed scholarly writings on metaphysics, ontology, and the seven leading faiths of the world, I have at least a nodding acquaintance with the texts and writing styles of Bibles common to Christian groups; for within purposes, I refer to the Bible as it was in the hands of Martin Luther at 1520A.D. and his writing "An Appeal To The Ruling Class Of German Nationality For The Amelioration Of The State Of Christendom" (which includes his "Three Walls" treatise), the modern King James version, and the 1989 version of the New American Bible.
In reference whereof:

1. I can locate no passage(s) in any said text(s) wherein God is portrayed as telling mankind to "go green or perish", nor to do no labor, nor depend wholly upon Him for Divine sustenance in this life; indeed, obsessing over the 'global warming' issue...involving little more than enactment of anti-pollution laws as they already are 1970 to date in the USA...does little when the same voices accept that Darfur has a leader privileged from ICC warrants, as if he and other leaders here and there, well, trim the fat so to speak, as their way of coping with what for their personal wealth are "too many people" likely to just need more icky emission controls that would add pennies to operating costs.

2. I can locate no passage(s) in within relevant Biblical text(s) which state or reasonably imply that the poor or otherwise disadvantaged...regardless of initial ethnicity, nationality, or class...are to be deemed "vessels of wrath", nor "losers"; likewise no passage(s) known to me that state or imply one is "saved" simply by uttering a phrase like "I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior" and thereafter needing to do so little good work, Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin could waltz into Heaven if they'd just said that between Auschwitz train and NKVD van lampshade and eyeglass sales. In fact, much of the relevant Biblical New Testament texts appear to give amazingly OPPOSITE words of Christ and of Apostles...which further seem to convey that ALL souls, rich/poor/in between, are precious to God and each due dignity on earth.

3. As to those within the so-called "Evangelical Climate Initiative" or similar "Evangelicals", even they don't seem to have a direct opinion on why mounting credit and other debts are a good tool to use to "force" non-labor, non-income "green going" on populations; indeed, they seem to imply a Socialist system, even if backed by totalism of leaders who then would be the sole source of money for such educators and New Age ministers, is hunky-dory and the ultimate in God's plan, yet again, where is that in any usual Bible?

4. For myself, it seems the only thing one should question re immigrants as a single issue is why make it seem all they can choose is get tossed out, or partake in a New Age Socialist system that flicks away "God's wrath vessels" today, and those yet to be discovered as time marches on? The real issue should be" how do all of already here together make an ever-bettering USA, and a better world through ardently following lawful justice for everyone and treating all with personal dignity? As it is now, one side just says "yeehah, pack more immigrants in!", the other side says "yeehah! Pack 'em in, but don't give them varmints no citizenship or nothin', just credito and welfare for now, and otherwise bill 'em like everyone else!"; the only bipartisanship thereafter seems to be both major parties want to convince immigrants they're doing God's Will in displacing wrath vessels and will have work thereafter (i.e., actually, Hispanics or whoever du jour are God's REAL chosen people, so hang in there, hang in there, hang in there)...um, as global warming permits, that is; if food or bill money gets tight, God loves abortion, divorce, and same-sex if it'll get you through (see, we just tell GRINGOS: God will feed them if tossed out of society...don't listen to say the Roman Catholics, as they bring in all immigrants and God is on our side, Satan on theirs, and we've got these liberal tricks to defeat them, so hang in there, hang in there, hang in there).

In sum, to me, there appears a degree of gnosticism to the admixture of New Age ministers and secular professors making the majority of "evangelicals" supporting the Left...especially since during the first few months of 2008, Obama thought Churchgoers were ALL "bitter", and his supporters such as PFAW were mailing via USPS six-page diatribes cursing Bush and the GOP on grounds of "trying to re-create a Christian nation!"; odd indeed that all of a sudden there are these some "evangelicals" wildly embracing ANY political parties omnibus views, let alone any which would tend to be in tension with faith deposits 2,000 or more years old.
