Remember how B.F. Skinner's manifesto, "Walden II", never really caught on until about the early 1960's? It's from Skinner's later work with Soviet behaviorists that I got the word "microrayons"; Skinner said this is what Soviets were calling ready-made towns having a wholly State-managed production/consumption/population base, and functioned with an artificial and non-equity economy as represented through "Walden II".
At any rate, Skinner's contribution to the current global monoculture...via having been a high White House advisor and emissary so many times in the past...cannot be underestimated.
