It's hard to imagine anyone trying to convince us mankind is just a worthless bunch of beasts plying genetic psychologies as crimes and racism against each other, kicking religion, honor, and character out the window...then expect anything good will come for many past the flashpoints (half-pints?) of evolution better able to herd earth's mass humanity. 

 

Logical positivism is like that; when "great men" like Stalin, Bashir, and their ilk want absolute power for power's sake minus constructive purpose, they overlook that some particular officials made bad moves or that some "public opinion" is extreme minority malingering/fabrication/imagination...then such power-mongers prey on whatever malaise exists which COULD be fixed by better enactments and blame every religion, every person of every interest which isn't the revolutionary's, every way of life including capitalism, promise that once THEY are in with absolute power all will be milk and honey...and when the joke on their people is found out, strongmen just say "what can we do but blame everybody BUT us for keeping us from implementing a land of milk and honey, keep out anybody not us, and suppress critics who doubt?".

 

Yes, looking at which ways of life LEAD to a life of fulfilled purpose, versus ways which reject a NEED for entertaining creativity and a need for individuals to have access to money and other needs to effectuate unique contributions to self and society, it seems religion not as practice but as bootstrap of rational objectivism leads to more income, diversity of people and jobs/trades, 4-H clubs, farms, artists, writers, journalists, doctors, ad infinitum...whereas "superior leaders admitting to humanity's grunting beastliness as insurmountable" pretty much peddle scorn of all but their ways.

The spirit of a growing number of people seems to be: "Who needs faith when you have dictation that just loves winning?"; perhaps this is a nihilistic view of those who resign themselves to no jobs, families eating or stealing each other's assets, non-marriage production of offspring, and the precious scarce money (pretty money!) governments toss their way until it's "their turn" for such cooperation. 

 

But for opponents of ethics, morality, and faith to say/do anything to sue and dissuade away peaceful religious freedom based on claims the net product of such pounding is superior to what thousands of years worth of global cultures before them could offer...on its face seems permanently deeply flawed and false.
