Hawaii: Drop All World Faiths, Obama Is "The Way"?

It's garrish enough that anyone, even me, would want to see themselves being the cause of holidays, statues, and parks in their likeness and names while A) they're still alive, and B) in any event, the purpose is to exact praise for someone and their orthodoxies BY such superstitious psychology in lieu of enumerated specific proofs of worthiness..."would be erecting statues to a sitting official, praising their name and glory, if most folks didn't wink-wink know such person to be worthy of popular and/or spiritual worship"?

But according to one report, specifically at http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=120893, the State of Hawaii in bipartisan song is saying exactly that: it appears Hawaii government believes USA President Barack Obama is worthy of immediate holidays, parks, statues, and more.

The reason(s)? "We're Americans first, then Republicans and Democrats". Wink, wink, wink, wink, wink, wink, wink, wink, wink,wink,wink...you get the fill-in-the-blank distraction being set up in such places.

As was pointed out in the Ray Bradbury-turned-1966 movie "Fahrenheit 451", we're all naturally much happier if we all have but one opinion as set forth by officials, and stop aspiring to dreamworlds and philosophies and such set forth through books and similar learning devices...officials know best how to make who and what fit and of course absolute relativity is required to such end.

Hawaiian government obviously seems to think that if we all just had Obama's opinion no matter what happened to us or a neighbor or any childrens' futures or civil rights or economy, see, we'll gain all this respect from say China and the rest of the world and they'll loan us bucks...even though China's State Bank the other week said neither they nor any other nation on earth HAS the cash or interest to do so in ANY event given direction of USA economy. So such thought is self-serving, but makes no more sense re "getting behind our President" than did those who said giving up all rights...for a "little while"...so manly Bush could get respect from the world on similar grounds.

Folks like John Kerry, Howard Dean, and Barack Obama certainly knew that in 2004 and 2008; Hawaii's Legislature and its relevant cloy are solely the concern of Hawaii voters; surely President Obama isn't going to say one or more USA units of government SHOULD be enshrining him in the nature of a Caesar, deity, or both.

And I point out HE hasn't said that, yet. Even if he does, he might not believe it beyond his offical job and salary/perks for life...States may, but need not, cast votes in the Electoral College based on popular vote turnout, and no matter HOW any President obtains to office, they work for Congress and the "several" States, NEVER "the People" in the say Mayoral or Gubernatorial or Congressional sense.

Thus, all one can presume, if anything, about notions such as Hawaiian government's is that such particular government swoons for what they have in their realm thanks to whatever President(s) function to take faux flak for it, find ways to make it happen, or both.

You can't blame Bush, Obama, or any other President if that's all some officials have been after in their own life tenures in their own little bailiwicks.
