I received Obama's quick, no-details PSA the other day, offered in support that he has miraculously cured all unemployment and tax woes in less than 100 days in office ( source: http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/foundationforchange ); essentially on the map, each State just gets a bare admixture of jobs "saved or created" in guess, the guessed total of $15 per paycheck that makes work pay, and guessed value to education...again, all without details, so who knows what's what exactly, leaving it up to each partisan or independent to imagine where the money came from and what specifically it was spent on...especially since the entire Obama Cabinet including Treasury also is magical, all personally doing everything without sub-officials and in fact amid Obaman budgetary cuts.

Now lest I be accused of being a racist, hating, anti-capitalist Doubting Thomas, let's look at what Obama and the president of Georgetown University are of one mind upon, when it comes to dealing with the voiceless, the disempowered, unemployed, and similar folks. Obama cheered with Georgetown's chief, when the headmaster said of Obama: " Throughout these past months and these early days of his presidency, and addressing our most difficult challenges, he has been resolute that in this moment we as a people will only be equal to the demands of the day if we stand up to the needs of the marginalized, of the powerless, of those without voice". Consider that comment together with the fact the same schoolmaster and Obama required only the Jesuit symbols covered, not commonly Christian symbols of any kind ( as attested in video thereof at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujwH6BXfP8E ).

Firstly, Jesuits are an order within the Roman Catholic faith separate from the "Ordinaries" (whom the world calls Priests), even though they wear the same black suit/white collar motif; the Jesuits are Vaticanate in allegiance and Pope John Paul II was very fond of them; Jesuits are eternally known for being into lucid social justice (plenty of info at http://www.jesuit.org/SocialJustice/default.aspx ).  

Second, we all know that unemployment has been a huge concern lately, bigger than foreclosure itself as the Boston Fed says ( http://uk.reuters.com/article/globalClimate/idUKTRE53C3KL20090413 ), yet Obama and even his Labor Secretary don't seem too long on details of all these "jobs saved or created" within 100 days, presented as if Obama can now coast awhile on job retention/creation. In fact, right now, all he can imagine dragging his economy down at all is eternal duration of northern hemisphere swine flu all Summer and getting worse into Fall and Winter ( http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124082918450558901.html  ).

Third and last, take into account that Obama and Georgetown's president agreed to public disregard for Jesuits, and that the latter president's key phrase was " stand UP to" the needs of the losers; a simple check of any thesaurus could show that "stand up to" is a synonym of "resist" ( http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/resist ) and of "oppose" (http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/oppose )...in other words, Obama and his pals in the USA-Bishop Conference run  Roman Catholic Church intend to urge resisting and opposing the "losers" in our economy.
