Modernizing Scope Of Reparations And Retrofitting Clunkers.

Congress.org today asks people to chime in with opinions to Congress re current House bills 15, 40, 414, 346, 390, 227, 254, 113, 202, 116, 126, 160, 155, 162, 87, 25, 70; so further, opinions re current Senate bills 30, 213, 247, 151.

I only have one said House bill I notice needs work: HR 40, a bill to pay reparations to USA African-Americans for slavery ended not later than 1871; few if any experiencing a USA depriving them of housing, food, child rearing aid, and so forth would seem to be alive at this long-later date; as so many educators/workers/police/homeowners, Barack Obama and many decades of entertainers and officials and corporate execs ,demonstrate, there are not really many actually denied much of anything due their race; African non-white Bashir in Janjaweed, as just one of many racial examples on earth, persecute and "cleanse" of their own kind exactly or far worse than long-ago slavers, so such racism is not a USA causation or extension of such things as UN Special Rapporteur Doudou Diene may soon allege against the USA anyway; wherefore, for those citizens alive today who CAN tangibly be shown they are eliminated or beaten or jailed or tossed aside simply due to race...WHATEVER race(s) may factually demonstrate profiling(s) against them in modern USA society forward into infinity...SHOULD be able to paid in nature of expediting  Courts Of Claims-type cases Federal Courts mandamus in finding for plaintiffs.

Only one Senate bill, current Senate bill 247 (Cash For Clunkers) should be tabled; it offers up to $4,500 for driveable old cars getting at least 18 mph, but requires no retro-fittings to improve mileage, and leaves one not able to afford a new car then either without wheels but with some walking around money, or it merely perhaps aids or covers downpayment on a necessary vehicle currently at non-deflated, hard-to-buy-in market rates; that they might get bare credit in such amounts helps the auto dealers, but if credit exceeds return to income, it's Bush Term Three. Wherefore, money to retrofit older cars should be available, to the lowest possible maximum.
