Obama in his acceptance speech said we cannot stick with the old ways; he is correct. So let's maybe ALL follow some new rules I propose which better reflect reality and steer clear of media/partisan/special interest "keep ME socially relevant!!!" PSYOPS or rodomontades:

1. There should be no more claiming that whenever Democrats are "in", anywhere at any level(s) of government, we all have to be "P.C." and hold our tongues no matter a stench over a bill or its effects; criticism of a non-producer policy should no longer be deemed "racist", "xenophobic", "controlling", "nationalistic", "anti-female", "VAWAbusive", "example of how Christian opinion may bring us trouble with other Christians or non-Christians", "possible terror activity for questioning or mocking me as an official not private person", nor any other invidious personal bad that needs psychological and/or legal-administrative smacking down.

2. There should be no more calling GOP critics "un-American", "enemy emboldeners", "hippies", "terror watch policy haters", or the like, again as where same would just deflect debate or explanations about bills and/or their results efficacy.

3. There should be no more "vast, right-wing conspiracy" that begins because a Democrat from some town up through the White House is questioned by media or competently by anyone else, and which "grows" exponentially by adding every person on earth who joins the questioning...no matter race, origin, gender, preferences, political interest, income level...and lumping them into "Conservative ranting types who need squelching".

4. There should be no more activity in any public agency or school or institution that says "Mention Jesus Christ, be canned/expelled/similar", especially where the subject entity simply picks on the Christian but leaves alone and does not mention or notice signs of Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist, Confucian, Celestine Prophecy, or any other peaceful religious garb or symbol or word(s)...nor should philosophers like Plato be banned for recitation or portrayal, just because they believed in bare matters that this earth is reflection of some Heaven and that souls exist. It's pretty thin to target Christians on some "Morel Orel" claim of "hypocrisy", but just about every man-influenced human grouping secular or not has its hypocrites, and anyone knowing the Bible knows Matthew Chapter 23 in its entirety reflects what Christ chastised about religious hypocrisy. Where those who say "shaddup, ya Christ-monger!" do not include it in a general prohibition against ALL religious expressions, in order to maintain fair secular administration of a public entity, such folks then set up an illusion that someone else needs to "be appeased" yet need not ever be named, leaves open undue innuendoes, and above all sets up one or more religious beliefs over Christianity in relevant government agencies...against the Constitution. And gays being important in Western Hemisphere culture from Oscar Wilde/Somerset Maugham through Raymond Burr through to date, using gays just to politically attack just Christians ignores other faiths don't promote same-sex if not natural by birth, doesn't impress or appease them in their "struggle against Christianity", and needlessly exposes non-heterosexuals to invidious opinions where at the same time a jurisdiction seeks actually to decide in omnibus who can and cannot get or stay paired legally or not...ceremony types and length of relationships irrelevant, as if toward complete population control. 

5. There should be no more palaver that Muslims are first present in Europe or elsewhere as if some reaction in appeasement to 2001-forward Islamic militants, any more than America tolerates saying all African-Americans "need not much more than welfare" or tolerates calling "ALL Italians" the Mafia, and so forth. Neither should anyone posit or infer that such Muslims, and indeed Hindus, require some re-writing or regulation of Western Hemisphere Christianity; nor should anyone say "ALL Muslims are killers, and either need troops in their faces everywhere on earth or need to have me interpret what they want to see done with you to avoid all the USA from being overrun or bombed by all those would-be killers, just like Europe".

6. Like many before him, Obama at his acceptance said the people have the opportunity to work through him to change the nation. A clever trick before has been to turn that into "you all do what WE say, don't ask questions, give it time to work, repeat ad infinitum...little people shouldn't talk, disturbs foreigners and terrorists and sinks ships, ya know". From Obama down to the smallest town's Mayors, every official should make themselves available to the public to see what IT wants in jurisdictional majorities, offer proposals to accommodate the most thereon, and then NOT ENACT DISABLING MONEY SUPPLIES OR RIGHTS- AND LIBERTIES-EXTINGUISHING LEGISLATIONS AND BUDGETS...not much can get done when a few get the purse, the big mass has to peck for moths flying out of it when emptied.

I humbly propose these new rules of socio-political etiquette to be followed for a four-year trial period, since doing the opposite thereof after so many elections has proven less than sterling in results.
