I'm Leaving Politics For Religious Humanitarian Service.

When I was 16 in Chicago, Illinois, my next door neighbor was the then 35th Ward Democrat precinct captain and Richard J. Daley was still Mayor; City Clerk John C. Marcin ( "whose wife owned dat manshun in Antioch IL, he really lived up dere above brother Casimir's Diversey and Drake tavern and ward HQ, jus' hard ta park da limo") was my Ward Democrat Committeman; my neighbor got me into that organization, and by 1980 I had concerted to GOP as Dems nationally seemed to be slipping on defense and Conservativism.

I met everybody from Bernard S. Neistein to Bilandic to current Daley's once civil trial head, in Chicago; Charles L. Dahlin, Wayne Orr, John Mutz (once Governor and Lt. Governor) and myriad more in Indiana; and so it went even when I lived in the "wilds" of Portland Oregon during "41's" term. Man oh man, how I even now get the requests for petitions, donations, activism, you name it.

But you know what? These days, it's ALL so rigged, you don't need to care if this or that color or gender or even a stick figure gets elected to ANYTHING...all they ALL do anymore is bleed you dry politically, and try to convince you the "tar" they thus put you in is actually anything more than omnipartisan "don't give a (expleteive) about ANYONE not me or necessary orthodoxy!" setting of snares, bags over heads, and seal batting (so to speak). It's all about the same slackers of the 1960's, '70's, and '80's preserving themselves out of incompetence, self-doubt, and fear of ANY foreign powers or ANY business competition via dripping in the same baloney slowly no matter WHAT political or apolitical bent...the point has simply been to say/do as needed to make it be so we're a serf community and terrorists for doubting a thing, ever, including supremacy of diplomacy over rights and peaceful religious expressions (for the masses, only, that is).

As one example, I have closed that faith and children's charity at fundable.com, at the whopping total taken in from all those "good political pals and orthodoxy who just want to help you and me help the needy and forgotten" of exactly GOOSE EGG (is that a term States' Attornies General accept on annual reports?)...yep, not a single Left, Right, or Center pundit, pol, eminence griese, nor any candidate nor their entourages, including camps McCain and Obama, for all they sapped from me over a few years up to a lifetime, would trust me with a cent due, I understand, to the fact I would not drop universalist religious, or plain religious, charities from my intended use.

Boy, that Republiservative is some loser jerk, huh? Well, no. See, that fundable.com was a special place where the only parties I solicited to it were the spectrum of political persons, officials, and candidates within aforesaid. Actually, I find traditional fundraising and collection from the public...even if I ask to bypass me and just help someone else in need...works fairly well, as if most of the public had a different view about religion than most media and pols and State bureaucrats.

Lastly, two days ago, my mother-in-law passed from this life after a long bout with having only one kidney which had been shutting down for years; in Benton County Oregon where she lived, like say here in Blagonois, visits by religious to the sick are verboten, as is religion in general urged to "contour" better to "more politically correct" modalities (like preaching Ladenists ARE martyrs not killers, and Christians are killer Crusaders) "necessary" on ground known only to the hairlipped bureaucrats. Chasing my tail as I've been, I lost a chance to see another irreplaceable loved one, but I see now my place is in full-time humanitarian and ministerial vocation. Nope, not even a "sorry for your loss" from ANY campaign, pundit, or pol.

I'm still otherwise the same "Wm F Buckley, Jr" Conservative I've always been, and expect to ever remain so. It's just that you've got to question where some are going when they pluck your brain for political activism, then accuse you of being "HR 1955 fodder" JUST FOR doing their campaign work.

I forgive all, and will also pray for lost, fallen away, and non-believing souls of friends and foes alike. I will henceforth concern myself only with my Universal Life Church endeavors.
