Interestingly, the only "defense" our officials anticipate is deepening the domestic status quo infinitely, as if all waiting for 2 Senate terms and 4 House terms to lam out with life retirement; the security plan seems to be in the nature of : insist China makes anything stamped "Made In China", and that 90% of all USA goods are there made, even if nobody really sees all those necessary mass caravans from our coast...what with China making it all BUT NOT IN LATIN OR NORTH AMERICA; build a big spinner wheel, place the names and leaders of every country on earth on the many slot spaces, spin occasionally to find REAL reason...this time for sure...our officials "have" to act as they do, and tehrein "keep us safe"; hope the rest of the world blames everybody but your nation (even where, in the case of some, the point is to be homicidal if every nation were Nirvana or Eden); shrink media, via Google et al filter all public data, pull CSPAN inter alia from cable/dish, outlaw shortwave, use planted stories to satisfy any new story, sit hard on your people, and encourage that good works are unnecessary in religion, or secular life, or public service...even have States and towns prohibit Churches from seeling candy bars, firemen from running "fill the boot" for MDA, whatever you have to in order to make illusion Americans hate giving even they have plenty of money and are just racists keeping immigrants from same.
 
Now, the "just in case" backup against foreign attack is: on the Left, a demand for no draft, and closure of recruitment offices; on the Right, no draft, full speed ahead BRAC until every possible place to put recruits is gone.
 
Perhaps during the Fall debates, someone will adduce from the candidates WHAT exactly, if anything, anyone specifically wants to change, together with HOW...I mean, it;s fun to accuse the Roman Catholic Church of smuggling all these immigrants in and all, as if States and Federal agents were merely incidental, stuff like that, but what is the change that in bipartisan concordance nationals and immigrants will go forward from, and exactly HOW will we...as a diverse nation...stand ready against attack, like most other nations do? Or is "it's what other countries are doing" also just another cop-out relativism?
