It's nothing new that this or that media supports or opposes a candidate(s) or political party or orthodoxy; since Democrats are blocking Iraq funds at the moment and leading us to believe Bush would cause the universe to unravel were he to make out-of-session appointments, and that's a huge slap at the President and anyone not saying "ja, mein Fuehrer!" to Democrats yet unsupported by fact pleading(s) of Congressional Democrats, let's look at how one Illinois newspaper devoted to Democrats attempts to sway folks this weekend.

 

I can only request that herein readers obtain a print copy of this week's Lake County News-Sun (IL); it has an interesting representation set through its composite "serious" stories as well as anonymous letters alleged sent by readers: the typical Lake County resident knows that Bush provoked al-Qaeda through knowing he'd go to Iraq before 9/11, and that guilty knowledge spreads into local troops glad to be home from a war Bush just uses to destroy the finest military on earth, while everyone knows Dems just need to get out of having a military TO be in harm's way and applauds Dems for making amends to al-Qaedans, ANY jihadists, or any Mid-East or other dictator making real or well-bluffed threats which even the beloved U.N.'s inspector Blix didn't like; also, we all know Bush ballooned the debt and do we really need to even think States or Daley got a penny; and what most Illinoisans want is less work, more and more residential housing, immigration by the megaton redoubled daily no questions asked, and a casino project that will outdo the world and will provide REAL financial security to all people...oh, and Chuck Schumer says the GOP White House caused the subprime woes for folks, and we all KNOW Bush will do it again, so we MUST have a program which eternally buys the houses for everyone ( i.e., backdoor non-equity Socialism) and only through social service agencies who may spend as they deem critical to their vision of a town or other society.

 

Now, either the News-Sun has most of those 11% approving of Congress as readers, or it is trying to convince its readers everyone BUT them thinks that way and they'll be accused of cooties if they don't play along with the propoganda.

 

The only way to know better is for Democrats THEMSELVES to unveil that lofty and much-bandied "strategic re-deployment" and costing plan for world and border security. Surely, Durbin and Dean don't have to invent their own popularity first, do they? I mean, in Lake County IL for the 2006 general, Mark Kirk (R) retained his seat handily, but Melissa Bean (D) barely scraped together 51% to hold on. Then there's facts like for a few years USA nationals have been experiencing hard luck ever getting their vehicles (regardless of age or condition) to pass new or renewal IL plate emission tests; for a few years, IL Dems let 'em drive anyway; but as of January 01, 2008, if those folks drive without a plate or renewal sticker just for that they can be charged with a new kind of FELONY as IL Dems concede if they cut transit routes many will lose jobs, but it'll be Bush's fault somehow and anyway IL has all these ever-increasing immigrants to feed, house, and get subprime deals to and money goes where it is deemed most critical to workforce composition or otherwise...currently, it seems more folks approve of Congress than they do of IL Dems or say Daley.

 

Then there's Lou Dobb's on-camera friend Bob Zimmerman, as Lou says a board member of the DNC and political consultant...who excels at slamming the GOP, but like Lou leaves out detail Bob is a partner of Zimmerman Edelson Inc, a Great Neck NY PR firm whose clients include New Urban housing monsters like Pulte Homes, monsters who get the nod from a lot of pols when decided casinos and subprime trump commerce and defense. Again, who cares that Lou or Bob or anyone uses Constitutional-right political maneuvering to confuse juries (voters), but at least they could be a little more upfront about the GOP and Bush not exactly owning domestic issues or responsibility thereof...Bob's attacks on Conservatives may be a bit less than avuncular in the name of the People, at least once in a while, and it seems prudent to take what he moans of with a grain of salt...but not even Bob or Lou or even Obama or Dean are responsible if you just let them talk, ask nothing further, then get depressed when you vote for their guys and nothing happens.

 

In sum, spiffy though current inculcation media present things, I'll still take Bush poker style over appeasing foreign bluffers, and stand with Bush re policing a Mid-East plagued by a transcendant Islamic element which holds knives to throats of their own folks and everyone else...instead of saying "sorry, our bad Mymood, Osama, Chavez, whoever...um, leave us alone, we'll let you do what you want elsewhere and if you should ever find you've too many people hey...have we got a casino option for YOU, prospective partners".

 

Apart from that, I will support Conservative perspectives on all issues, and look forward to Democrats post primaries outlining bold re-deployments and job/commerce-driven progress such that casinos are at the bottom, serving all USA nationals and legal immigrants together like we always USED to do in this great melting pot and like everyone who wants to work and grow free trade regularly expects.
